Classic old style restaurant. Every savory course was way over salted on the 7 course tasting menu. Unbelievably great finishing dessert. But middle courses I wouldn’t pay the price for again. Cocktails were not great but did the job. Glad we switched up to a bottle of wine. The service however and our waiter specifically were outstanding.

Extremely poor service, food was bad. I asked for poached eggs and got hard boiled. Pastry seemed bought in and old. Over priced and not good. Kept having to flag the waiter down to get anything at all. Horrible.

Table service was mediocre; more like being in a cafeteria. Food was ok but didn't appear to be chef made and didn't measure up to the price. The wine list was ridiculously expensive, nothing less than $300. I could have gone to Nick & Sam's for the same price with 10 times the satisfaction.

Beautiful setting, superb food. We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Classically inspired, each course was interesting, with exquisite sauces, and sized just right. Wouldn't have this on every visit, but it made for an interesting and relaxing evening for my husband and me and was well worth the time and money.

The atmosphere was fantastic for a Friday evening dinner. We had John as our server, and he did a wonderful job. The crab cake appetizer was phenomenal. Our entrees were very good as we selected a sirloin steak and mushroom stuffed ravioli. One of the top dining experiences in Uptown Dallas.

We ordered the heirloom tomato and duck jerky, peach, & goat cheese salad. The tomato dish was soggy and tasteless. The tomatoes were pale and the cheese was runny. The salad had three 1/4" pieces of jerky and peaches, and there wasn't any goat cheese. The dressing was very one note. Then I had the mushroom ravioli which was excellent. Both the filling and the mushrooms on top were delicious.

We came here to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We found the food is good but not memorable and not a good value. We did appreciate the nice ambience and were able to carry a normal conversation without having to talk loudly. The service is good. After dinner we went to the bar and enjoyed the live music and that was the highlight of the night.

Greeted casually by name upon arrival, they treated us as if we were regulars even though it was our first time. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and the mushroom pasta we had for lunch would put most fine Italian dining venues to shame. We highly recommend for a “treat-yourself” occasion or a romantic date.

Wonderful as expected! We chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary after our friends recommended it. Service was excellent. We didn't get the tasting menu but we tried a couple of starters with our entrees. We loved the FoieGras and Almond Tiramisu. The only negative was the side salad which we sent back. The dressing had zero acidicity. Whoever makes the dressing totally missed the mark. The TX Sheet cake was so so. Overall we had a fantastic evening and would return for special occasion.

We wanted to go to this restaurant for a long time and I wanted to love it, but it was just ok. Food was nothing special, service ok but we had to look around for our server several times to ask for bread, drinks, etc. Would not return.

The place, atmosphere and food are phenomenal. What made the experience the best was such a great server on top of all that. He knew his wine and was so respectful of conversation. We asked for information about the place and he knew a lot. We enjoyed everything.
