As usual the Mansion Restaurant always delivers above and beyond...their attention to detail and customer service has always been steadfast...and while we are under difficult environmental conditions...the staff and management are focusing on creating an outstanding experience. I always love the food and the view form the enclosed terrace. Fantastic churros....got to try it .

Nothing unexpected. This restaurant has not missed a beat since the virus. Excellent food, excellent service. The drinks flowed freely, and the bar appetizers were very good.
For dinner, my lady had outstanding red snapper. I stuck with the usual venison, it is some of the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend the pecan dessert.
One cannot go wrong eating at this restaurant. It is consistently good, I am glad to see that it survived the Covid

We had the five course tasting menu while seated on the outdoor terrace. Each course was delicious and beautifully presented. The wagyu culotte was a standout, and we could have happily made a fabulous meal out of just the mascarpone truffle risotto and autumn squash soup with maple bacon ravigote. We felt very safe with the servers in both masks and face shields and adequate room between tables. The lovely outdoor fireplaces on both sides of the terrace kept the temperature very comfortable. Service was efficient and attentive.

This was our first experience here. My husband desires a larger selection of entrees, but the food we did receive was wonderful nevertheless!

It was absolutely amazing! We celebrated my husband's birthday and went for the 7-course menu with paired wines. It was fantastic from beginning to end! Delicious food, beautifully presented with fabulous wines. The food and wine portion sizes were just right! All health and safety measures (Covid-19) are well respected and we felt really safe and relaxed. There is enough social distance and the staff wears masks, shields and gloves.
We are new to Dallas (moved from Houston), but have already been twice to this beautiful, stylish, cosy and romantic restaurant. It helps that it's only at 15 minutes walking distance for us! The staff is really friendly and makes you feel welcome and well taken care of. Definitely recommend it, especially for special occasions. It is a special treat and a gastronomic experience that reminds us of our time back in Belgium...

I was unbelievably disappointed in the lack of social distancing present in the restaurant. I requested a secluded table and the mater di seated my wife literally 1.5 feet from the nearest guest. We ended up requesting another table due to our discomfort. Once at the other table it was appalling the number of guests that refused to wear masks when going to the bathroom, etc. overall very disappointed and will not be returning. Not what one expects from a quality institution such as Rosewood and a fine dining establishment.

The location was fantastic. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly. A few did not speak English making it a little challenging a few times to ask what it was that we were being served. But all in all, the experience was pleasant.
The food itself fell short. We opted to do the 7 course. None of the 7 courses blew us away. Quite frankly, there were two courses, including the duck that was touted as one of their best, was not good at all, almost inedible. The fish was good (not great), the filet was good (not great), everything else was just OK, including the desert.
My wife and I enjoyed the environment and the staff, but for a $250ish meal for 2 of us, both of us were underwhelmed with the food. Since 2 of the courses were truly not good (one was duck, the other was I believe chicken liver), I left hungry.

We tried to so hard to have a great night, as our last experience here was perfection. So when we eagerly returned for a repeat performance, we were heartbroken with the results: poor service, cold food and utter disappointment! There was at least a 45 minute gap from completing our appetizers to receiving our entrees. When they finally did arrive, they were ice cold. I could not even eat mine and my husband was so starved that he reluctantly ate his $85 lobster that was supposed to be 1lb and 7oz (their words), but looked much skimpier than touted. Needless to say, we will not be rushing back anytime soon!

We celebrated a 60th Birthday on the outdoor patio. The food & service were excellent.
Unfortunately, the Open Table voucher designated for The Mansion did NOT work. THAT was EMBARRASSING. The Maitre d’ hotel said this has happened many times. Open Table needs to get that to work properly. Perhaps, Open Table will redeposit those points into my account.
Pro-Tip: During the Pandemic, patio dining allows CIGAR smoking. That was a disappointment, yet perfectly legal on the part of the guy who was upsetting EVERYONE on the patio.

We had a wonderful time - a beautiful luxurious 4 hour 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. Hugo was sensational and the staff were attentive and provided guidance throughout the evening. Starting with a nice glass of champagne and light yellowtail and salmon tartar bite we started on the best meal thus far of 2020! The Butternut squash soup was so delightful, so many tastes and textures it was truly a delightful journey. Th Fois Gras was phenomenal and paired with the sweet Hungarian wine it helped cut the richness of the fois gras — was perfection. The black truffle risotto was incredible, the rice wasn’t mushy, the sauce wasn’t overly cheesy, and the generous shavings of black truffle was such a treat! Paired with the buttery Chablis, it was truly a divine experience. Our group loves scallops and the seafoam topping was new experience for several of the ladies, paired with a light Sancerre it helped to cut to brininess of the dish. The only complaint we had was the duck was a bit tough (but really tasty! and the steaks were much too well done for our Texan tastes but I will be back again and will be sure to mention our steak preferences next time. Moving from the main courses into dessert a lovely sorbet helped refresh our palettes and make room for the delightful dessert I can’t even begin to describe. Paired with an almond dessert wine that brought me back to long dinners in Italy that wrapped up with a similar amaretto like dessert wine. Thank you mansion staff for a lovely evening, the chefs for making each dish beautifully balanced and paired perfectly with unique wines. I will be back soon for another round!!

We were celebrating our anniversary and my birthday and y’all didn’t do anything to help celebrate so a little disappointed as we feel for the price paid, it wouldn’t be too hard to have a slice of dessert w a candle or glass of champagne to help celebrate. 🤷🏼♀️

My husband and I took our adult son to The Mansion's Sunday brunch to celebrate his birthday. We had never been before and had high expectations due to its reputation. The food was good but served warm, not hot. My husband tried to eat his one fried egg but decided to send it back and another hot one was served. He asked for hot tea twice before anyone brought it The pastry basket was very good and in addition we were served complimentary small scones with jam. Also my son received a complimentary banana bread pudding which was excellent for his birthday.
Overall the ambiance, service and food were not enough to justify their prices or coming back. Perhaps it was a staffing issue although we had a reservation and it did not seem busy.
They were taking safety precautions by taking temperatures upon arrival and requiring masks of everyone. Also complimentary valet.
