   Went for afternoon tea, really underwhelming. The price is truly outrageous for what you get. A few finger sandwiches and meh scones. It was very loud in the tea room and the service was not impressive at all. Won’t be back here for tea though the patio for cocktails was nice.

   Jimmy was our amazing waiter as we always request him. The whole staff remembered our wedding anniversary. The food and service are always on point.

   The Mansion used to be “the best of the best” in Dallas… Taking my wife to dine for her birthday was a “total disappointment” ! The steak provided was filled with fat and was inedible.. The smug waiter didn’t have gumption of asking me how was my Steak! Since I refused to take the remainder home in a box A total waist of a good evening contributed by sub par meal!

   I went for the afternoon tea. Although the service (my server's name was Victoria) was great and friendly, I don't recommend the experience given the food quality did not justify the price or match the ambiance. The desserts were too sweet and felt like they were made a while ago and had just been pulled out of the refrigerator. The clotted cream was so hard, I couldn't spread it without the scones crumbling. When I put my knife into the clotted cream, the whole bottle of cream came out of the jar in one piece. It was not creamy and spreadable at all. The ladies who were at the restaurant reservation check-in desk were very nice and courteous. The guys outside were too busy parking cars. No one greeted or asked if I needed any assistance/directions where to go (which I did because I stood around for a while outside before trying yo get someone's attention). Not the experience I expected at a Rosewood property and the property was just OK. Doesn't live up to the Rosewood name. I had afternoon tea at Cafe Dior (inside the Dior boutique) in Highland Park/Dallas a couple of days prior and, by comparison, it was way better. I rated the food and service 10/10. If you are in LA, the Langham Hotel in Pasadena and The Huntington Library and Gardens have much nicer ambiance and afternoon tea experience.

   This is an excellent fine dining experience. The food is consistently excellent (with a very good selection), and the service also is excellent. It is our go to every time we are in Dallas.

    It is consistently a gastronomically phenomenal experience at the Mansion Restaurant! The room is iconic, the service fantastic, and the food scrumptious! Cocktails are made to perfection!
