We chose the Mansion Restaurant to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We chose the 7 course vegetarian meal and it was an amazing experience. Our favorite was the pumpkin soup. The ambiance is romantic and quiet, the service was outstanding.
Our waitress was Barbara - a 30 year veteran of The Mansion. She kept our champagne glasses perpetually full... I had an excellent venison plate. My GF had a great salmon entree. Both of us departed very please. Unlike some of the other top restaurants in Dallas, one leaves The Mansion quite stuffed.
Good food and great service
We had a wonderful evening. The service was amazing as was the food. This is one of the nicest places in north Texas
Great food, mediocre drinks and poor service. Quality of food definitely outweighs the service.
This whole dinner experience was fantastic. Small rooms with fireplaces were very elegant great ambiance. The food was wonderful. The wait staff over the top.
My friends and I make a reservation every year for “Fancy Brunch” for my birthday! The practically endless mimosas are a hit and everything on the menu is delicious. We end up staying for hours because of the drinks and atmosphere. We are never rushed and the service is incredible. You can’t go wrong with a reservation at The Mansion!
My wife and I went to The Mansion for Sunday breakfast. We were greeted and seated promptly. The service was top notch. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the orange juice.
Excellent service and excellent food, as always
Even the car attendant was outstanding
I took 2 friends here. Once seated, we had a spectacular time. The mimosa's and Bloody Mary's were almost bottomless, as advertised! The fix price is the way to go. The first, second and third courses were all very well done. I do not have any complaints. I will be taking my wife there for our anniversay. For the meal, the memory, I felt the price was ok.
Totally exceeded my expectations. Brunch was spectacular! I can’t wait to experience dinner.
Food and atmosphere was absolutely amazing. Took my girlfriend for her birthday and she loved it. Her favorite. Crab cake was the best!
Food was terrific
Food was delicious and full of flavor, service was exceptional, and the ambiance was incredible. Perfect for my anniversary dinner!
It was our 15th wedding anniversary and they seated us at the table with the worst possible location in the main dining room. The table was located in the path of the restaurant so there was constant traffic around us. It was not appropriate seating for the occasion.
Ezequiel is just amazing. No words for such as amazing service
One of the nicest dining experiences in Dallas. Food is very good but the sampler menus is quite overpriced. Service is very good
Ageless perfection. The Mansion has been open long enough to warrant the remodel that’s underway but their food is still perfect. Simple menu fresh ingredients. Classy service. Great wines. Go there
Excellent all around. Food was good and service perfect. Very quiet
You can always expect outstanding food and service at the Mansion!
Post wedding brunch. The restaurant was very sweet in celebrating with us and making our special day even more special.
Food - outstanding, service - impeccable ambiance- delightful
Food was outstanding! I had the smoked pork chop - well prepared, tender, and succulent. My wife had the filet - prepared perfectly. We both started with the butternut squash soup - delicious. The service was excruciatingly slow. Although we weren't in a hurry per se, we ended up being there 3 hours and 15 minutes (at least 45 minutes too long). The waiter, assistant waiter, manager, and food delivery person all apologized for how long it took. Interestingly, no one offered to comp a dessert or drink as a gesture that they really were sorry for the delay.
The best place in Dallas that offers a quiet and elegant lunch. This is a sophisticated and polished place. My guest and I were greeted by an exceptional matre 'd, named Denver and given a supurb table (front and center). The wine selections were very nice as was the luncheon menu. From time to time, the serving staff would completely disappear from the dining room. "Did they quit?" my guest asked. Wait staff is polite, knowledgeable and experienced.....we just need them walking by the table more frequently so you can call upon them if something is needed. Otherwise, terrific restaurant, the best in town. Attractive people, delicious food and improving service.
We had lobster, scallops, and the cowboy steak. The steak was bit chewy. The other dishes were great.
Totally disappointed. Came on Friday for a romantic dinner to celebrate our anniversary and had to suffer through 2 hours a bad 70's rock music from a party in the other room. Wasn't there a door?
Main course was poorly prepared and no effort other than a glass of wine was offered to compensate for it.
We were celebrating our engagement and everything was wonderful.
A wonderful dining room with excellent service. The tasting menu was over the top and each course was better than the last one. Worth the visit.
Not what it used to be...no host, took 30 minutes to order a drink on patio, food was not good at all.
Amazing atmosphere, service, food and wine list! An absolute must try!!
Always great to go back!!
Dined at the Mansion for lunch;it met every expectation and more!
Our meal(s) were not only delicious, but beautifully presented.
It was our first time lunching at the Mansion, but not our last!
We had a lovely Sunday brunch on patio. The food selection was great, met everyone’s likes. The bread basket was the hit! We will go back often for the great ambiance and consistently excellent service.
Excellent food, prepared the way we wanted it..Excellent, non obtrusive service. Quiet-we could talk easily.
Just found out about this place. What a treasure. Made my wedding anniversary dinner memorable.
This was our first time at The Mansion. The ambiance and service was as I expected. The food itself was disappointing. We have had far more quality at other fine dining establishments in Dallas. We checked that off our list and probably will not be back.
Food was terrible. We did the tasting menu and it was a huge waste. The Mansion restaurant has seen better days!
The fish some of our guests ordered came with the head and tail .. they asked it to be removed - when we got them back sans head and tail one of them turned out to be scallops!
Loved everything about our experience at The Mansion. Beautiful space, excellent selection of wines and other beverages, and the food was incredible. Highly recommend for a nice night out!
