My wife and I had an amazing time. We were celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt special. I will be back again

We found all courses to be below average. I personally ordered the Snapper and found it was not edible. The fish had a terrible odor and taste. It was dry and overcooked. Was in desperate need of a sauce. Overall our experience was awful. There is a need to make some major changes.

The evening was special as it was our 30th Wedding anniversary. The Mansion helped make it a night to remember!

Very disappointed with the qquality of the dinner. The halibut was over seasoned for me. It was overkill for flavor. The Tortilla Soup was also a disappointment. Too salty, not hot enough.

My husband and I enjoy tasting menus and try to get them whenever possible. We were both disappointed by the seasonal tasting menu here.

First of all, in my reservation 7:15 pm on a Saturday, I mentioned that we were rescheduling from the week prior when our son got sick and we had to leave to get him almost as soon as we sat down. Also in the reservation I mentioned that we would be celebrating my husband's birthday and we were interested in the carte blanche tasting menu.

We get there and were seated immediately. It's noticeably busier than the last time we were there. No one came to our table with even a menu for a solid 20 minutes. After getting our menus we asked about the carte Blanche menu and were told it was unavailable but not given a reason for it even after asking why and mentioning that we had requested it while placing our reservation a week prior.

Server goes away for about 10 minutes, comes back and takes drink orders. I ordered the ice cider, my husband a mocktail and we order the seasonal tasting menu.

We got an amuse buse before we got our drinks with a poor explanation of what it was. Around 745pm my drink finally shows up followed by the first course with no explanation other than, lobster bisque.

It was ok, creamy with a lobster aftertaste and the 2 smallest pieces of lobster ever and surprisingly spicy.

More courses come with so little expansion we asked for a menu so that we knew what we were getting. Only once did someone ask us how everything was.

By 9pm we had only had 4 courses out of 8. I flagged our main server down and asked how much longer letting him know that we needed to leave by 10 to get home to relieve our babysitter.

He apologized for the delay and our last 4 courses came out in about 10 to 15 minute intervals, which is a much more comparable time table to other trasting menus we've had at other places.

The food overall was not impressive, the service was horrible, and in my opinion over priced.

We had a great time at the Mansion. The service was wonderful - everything from valet to coat check. Although we had a "waiter", everyone in the restaurant took care of us, making sure we had drinks and bread and food at all times. At one time, my husband asked if it would be possible to make a substitution and the waiter responded, "You're at the Mansion. Anything is possible." What a great attitude and culture! The wine menu is a bit overwhelming but thankfully our server helped me pick the perfect glass. The Brunch Sampler was such a great value for the amount of wonderful food we had. The price wasn't so expensive that we felt bad not cleaning our plates, but was just enough to ensure quality food. Ambiance is great. The small indoor terrace/patio provides a perfect brunch with great view and a lot of natural light. It was quiet enough to have an actual conversation. Will definitely be back!

Went for dinner. Nice table in room with fireplace.
Waiter was terrific. Oysters served in mignonette sauce that was excellent. Great beet salad. Entrees were not the best. Lamb chops were requested medium. Scallops were a bit gritty. Lamb was not hot. Sent back. Came back slightly reheated. Manager visited table. Apologized. Did a nice thing and provided complimentary desserts. We will return as most everything was fine.

Not worth value. Food was mediocre at best. I had a crispy skin salmon, which was good, however, everything it came with was lackluster. The bottomless bloody Mary's were not spicy and did not have salted rims. The bottomless mimosas were OJ heavy. The ambiance was quiet and boring. I will not come back.

Very special tasting menu of exquisitely prepared items, each a standout on its own, but divine in combination! The sommelier has wonderful sense and sensibility, so the wine pairings were near perfect and are highly recommended. If you add-in impeccable, attentive service and the warm and welcoming ambience, the result is fine dining at its best!

My food wasn’t very good, but the overall location is nice.

Pros:
- Ambiance, location, history of the building

Cons:
- my wagyu steak was fatty and tasteless.
-For a >$200 meal, it just wasn’t very good. Our asparagus side was mushy
- we found out from our bill, the glass of champagne recommended to my wife was $36

We went for a special occasion. The ambiance and service were great! The food however, was less than desirable. The portions were small, which I expected to some degree. The lobster dish I had was the smallest tail I have seen, the lobster claw ravioli was so andante that it was too chewy, and all the sauces for both our dishes were either very salty, or sweet. Not terribly enjoyable. My husband got the rib eye which we ordered medium rare, but was served medium to well, and was chewy and grisly and he could not finish it. It's unfortunate when you leave a high price restaurant saying we could have made it much better at home! Plus we were celebrating my birthday, and with the price tag of the meal, they didn't even offer a free desert?

Celebrated 55th wedding anniversary. A little pricey ($62 for a lobster tail the size of my index finger, no joke). Three small bites and ALL Gone! Service, wine, atmosphere perfect. Desert great but refer to size in previous sentence. Beef tenderloin was wonderful but lacked in size, too. Potato was 3 cylindrical pieces the size of my thumb nail. Good tasting but gone in a flash. Had not been there in 30yrs (for our 25th anniversary) and likely will not go back unless someone else is paying like this time. Would the meals been of larger size had I paid cash versus gift certificate? Don't know.

Hotel and restaurant were beautiful, service with the exception of our waiter was spot on. Waiter was pushy despite our small table spending $300+. Food was disappointing overall given the excellent reputation. It’s definitely worth a visit, but doesn’t live up to expectations.

We went to the Saturday Brunch as a special treat for a visiting aunt from New Jersey who is particular about her restaurants, wine and food. She loved it! Everything was delicious, even the bread and butter had a gourmet taste! The waiter was attentive yet not hovering and imposing, friendly yet not too intimate. The food was divine! I'll have to insist my aunt visit more often so I have an excuse to dine there again.
