Casual Sunday Brunch with a friend. Atmosphere was very welcoming.
The absolute only thing we found annoying was the music from the bar. For this sort of setting...this meal...and this price, it's unfortunate we had to list to a live group from two rooms away.
I have enjoyed brunch with friends here twice and will certainly go again! The menu provides a wide variety of options for starters, entree and dessert - and everything we've had has been beautifully plated, thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The staff are very attentive and accommodating to any request, the seating is arranged for comfort and the restaurant is lovely. From valet parking through our stay we were treated as special guests!!
I was a bit surprised the waiter did not introduce himself. However he was very attentive and well schooled. We really enjoyed it and differently will go back.
We enjoyed a wonderful business lunch. Excellent food and service!
My favorite restaurant in Dallas, Texas. I will return, maybe next week!
My little sister had a wonderful experience during her birthday brunch. Food was amazing and so were the mimosas!
Part of our 25th anniversary stay at the Mansion Hotel. A very fitting brunch in the Mansion restaurant to go along with our stay. The menu, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. Recommend the brunch to all.
We got engaged over 25 years ago at the Mansion restaurant and decided that our 25th anniversary would be a fitting occasion to return again. It was well worth it. The service, food, and ambiance were perfect. A great occasion restaurant. We will surely return in the near future.
We stay at The Mansion Hotel several times a year. We always try to dine at The Mansion Restaurant at least once during our stay. Per usual everything from start to finish was perfect.
Something to note..we always recognize the waitstaff. They have been there for years. In my opinion, they love their job and it shows! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I took my wife there for her birthday both of our dinners were cold. they did comp the 2 meals but the appetizer was not very good ..service was adequate just wasn't a good experience.
Did not come close to meeting expectations
Took my BFF here for her birthday-OMG absolutely gorgeous decor, friendly staff, and beyond exceptional tasting food. C'ANT wait to go back
I am normally not one to leave reviews but this place was amazing. I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and pre-engagement dinner. They treated us so well and the service was outstanding, it set the mood perfectly. The food was 10/10.
Ambiance and service was amazing but the food was underwhelming. Nothing was bad but we were not impressed for $500 dinner. Cool experience and glad I went but this was more of a $200 dinner.
Any amazing experience. Will definitely be back.
The staff went out of their way to make us feel special. We did a birthday brunch and it was wonderful.
We love The Mansion for romantic dinner/date nights!
We had the tasting menu and it was great. Service was perfect.
Wonderful evening to enjoy perfect meal with friends.
Went here for lunch, service was on point and very diligent, but the food was a little bit of a let down. I had the smoked salmon, and it was mostly cauliflower pancakes and watermelon radish with very thin pieces of salmon on top of each of them. My date had a steak of some kind, and he said it wasn’t very well seasoned. But aside from the main course, it was alright.
I went for brunch and had a wonderful time! The staff is always exceptional!
Atmosphere was pleasant and the staff/service was good, however the food was average at best and for the price it is definitely not worth it. Came for my Anniversay based on a recommendation but would not recommend it to anyone.
Tasting menu was on point. Susan and staff did a phenomenal job. I’ve been coming here for more than half my lifetime. It’s always the best in a Dallas.
I selected The Mansion for a special lunch to celebrate a friends birthday and they did indeed make it special.
Great restaurant, a bit too old school for my taste. Portions were large but to be expected in Texas. Quality of the food was high, but not super 'trendy'.
Fabulous dinner...Susan and Nacho were terrific.
My wife and I have a wonderful 15th anniversary dinner that the Mansion Restaurant. We had the 8 course tasting menu which was quite an enjoyable culinary experience.
One of the finest dining experiences we have had in Texas. Pace of service was unrushed with attention focused on customers. Food was unmatched with respects to appearance and taste.
I was most impressed with the service. It was unobtrusive, friendly, and above the nominally required.
Wow, prices failed to deliver- food was not better than Denny's, ambiance average at best. At least I can say I've been there once. Will not be saying twice though. The people try hard for sure.
Great dining experience. The food was good, well presented and tasty but not truly outstanding or memorable. The service and attention to detail were outstanding. The dining rooms are beautiful and create warm ambience. The house made ice cream does deserve mention. Yum. Great place for a date. Live music was very good as well and not too loud in the dining room but a great spot to go after dinner.
I went here for a third date and let me tell you, the food was great, drinks were amazing and the service was extraordinary
A wonderful evening out-great cuisine, impeccable service, wonderful wine selection!
The service when you first are greeted by Denver was the ultimate swank. He was gracious and conscientious to detail. He was easy going. Even at a busy brunch Denver was showing us the history of the entrance and doors and mantel. Also Seratti(misspelled). Very handsome and also took the time to show us the wine cellar and gave us some history. He was cognizant of our age and very much a gentlemen watching out for the two of us. The Mansion is a secret with so much history. Thanks Denver and Serratii. My best friends Birthday was handled tops!
We thought we would give this spot a try for our anniversary because it was noted as romantic, cozy etc etc. It was not so that night. We were seated next to a party of 6 or so women and 1 in particular was gabbing on about her sex life in great loud detail and calling her other female acquaintances in her life degrading names. All while dropping loud curses here and there. Shameful. I kept sitting there thinking...Is this really an upscale place?
Moving past that headache. On my meal I did have a few adjustments needed on my plates, but that does not mean the food should come out bland. My dish had some tomatoes on it that tasted out of the can. For the plate price this is very sad. Also, the portions are small, but I do not mind it because I don't eat that much any how.
The service was good except this man who kept pushing bread products on us and we were having difficulties understanding him.
The place looks cute inside, but I am afraid it is far from romantic. Our quest continues yet again searching for a place that has it all.
My favorite place to hos
The quality of the food seems to have declined since my last round of visits a couple of years ago.
Our server Barbara is one of the best in town, and always makes our times here enjoyable.
Good romantic place for 1st anniversary celebration. Food was good, atmosphere was great, and service was superb.
