Rosebud may have been closed longer than expected during this pandemic, but they are back and the food is still delicious!! Highly recommend 👌
I entertained business colleagues from Mexico. Our server spoke to them in perfect Spanish, which was greatly appreciated. He was, overall, excellent in every way. Our food was delicious. One of my guests had requested pasta vongole, which the server thought was feasible. When he returned, he informed my guest that, with regret, the chef "didn't know how to make vongole". I found this odd for a restaurant of Rosebud's reputation. We found a nice wine on their list, but the list definitely isn't what it used to be. We were told that it was "Covid related". I hope that they return to their previous excellence.
An old style classic Italian spot in Chicago. Staff accommodated our requests and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner!
Awesome experience, only wish they had bone-in chicken vesuvio.
Absolutely perfect dinner.
I love the ambiance of Rosebud. The service is always the best. The food? I found mine to be average. I had the veal. Skimpy on the Marsala sauce and mushrooms. My wife had the baked ziti and she went crazy for it. Cocktails were perfect. I have not been there for one year because of covid. I will go back. Always a good time. I just to not eat pasta out on the town, only home.
We come here at least once a month for our date night, even though it’s been a while. I mainly come for the spicy calamari. All the staff are friendly the service is good and the food is good! My only issue was the bathroom it could use a small remodel to tie in with the rest of the place but it’s a family friendly place at I recommend it!
Love their meatball salad!!
I live in the area, as usual, the food was delicious and the staff were phenomenal.
This restaurant is an excellent value and I strongly recommend making a reservation
The waitress was not attentive at all as even when we left we were still waiting on certain items that we asked for when we first sat down, food seem bland and pasta over cooked, presentation on sausage and spaghetti could have been better as well.
Absolutely perfect as always!
Excellent outdoor seating area for a business lunch. Would recommend the Meatballs with Polenta!!
Birthday dinner was everything I dreamed of and more
Always on par - Never a disappointment - Taylor Street Icon
It was a great dining experience for me and my family.
Ate outside and was a great experience. Food was good. Service was great. Matt was awesome and friendly. Would eat here again
We were outside, so ambience was at the mercy of the weather.
The food is always fantastic, but service could be improved. It didn’t really hurt anything - we had a lovely time. Our server was also working inside and seemed to be tending bar, which I suppose is a result of Covid-19. They may not be sure how many servers they need at the current time.
Exellcent Food and Great service from David!
Ask for David. He was an outstanding server. He was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu.
This was our first visit to The Rosebud. We traveled two hours and it was worth every minute and every penny. The service and food were outstanding. The pace of the meal delivery was perfect. My wife and I enjoyed the meal experience for over two hours. The Rosebud on Taylor St is a must for anyone who enjoys great Italian food and atmosphere. It is a throwback experience. We can’t wait to get back to Little Italy and visit The Rosebud.
Excellent Brick Chicken, better than ever!
Attentive service and surrounded by high-level professionals.
Terrific food in a great neighborhood. The pasta dishes cannot be matched in the neighborhood.
The only problem was when walking to the car, my bag with leftovers leaked and the food spilled out, we’ll be back soon now that we know about your parking lot!!
They were very COVID conscious and careful. The outdoor dining was lovely. Food was very good.
We have been coming here 30 years and have never had a bad meal. Rosebud is always fantastic and today was no exception. Due to COVID we ate outside and the service was superb. Taylor street is closed Fri-Sun, so the area is relaxed with people exercising and strolling by. Highly recommended.
Went to Rosebud for my son’s birthday, and Taylor Street was blocked off for outdoor dining. We were seated outside, all tables were spaced at least six feet apart, and waiters and servers wore masks. Menu was slightly reduced from their norm, but there were plenty of selections. Everything was great and it was an enjoyable meal.
It was just ok but overpriced for the food and could’ve used an umbrella etc outside for some shade. Nothing terrible and the service was good but not really worth going back unless it’s a special occasion
The staff was really extraordinary with all thats going on. Definitely a smaller menu but still great options, everyone is being really careful and all tables are far enough away, adhering to all protocols which is tough to do. I will definitely be returning.
Great Food! So happy to sit outside! We will be back.
I was so happy to enjoy a meal outside with my friend. The fish was outstanding!!
Been a while since I have visited Rosebud on Taylor...still as charming as ever and the staff were great!!!!
Everything was fantastic especially the food! Great service!
Our waiter was quite friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Food arrived very quickly.
Both of our entree's were good, not great. They seemed in a rush to get us out of there, they didn't want us lounging around. Our waiter gave us our check and came back in one minute to pick it up even though we both had half a glass left. In and out in under an hour and there wasn't anyone waiting behind us.
Everything was wonderful as usual. Will be back very very soon
Never disappointed. Always a great meal! Friendly staff and good for kids
Food is superb. The service is great. It is also a classic singing experience.
Amazing and authentic! We loved it! The risotto special was outstanding and Teddy, our waiter, was a hoot.
Absolutely fantastic! Can’t wait to go back again.
A little disappointed with the appetizers that are usually phenomenal. The Veal Parm was also lackluster, and it's usually my go to entree of choice. The Zupa De Pesce was excellent.
