Sandwiches are good and the overall services were superb except one waitress forgot our request of paying the bills and let us wait for 15mins. The sweets were absolutely terrible , also, the waitress ask us do we need water for the table before gave us the menu, nobody told us the water costs 7 pounds which we thought was free, and served a whole bottle without asking how much we want. I book this as a part of my friend’s graduation trip, we are not happy with the experience here, surely not gonna come again.
Great for Breakfast (haven’t tried lunch and diner); great atmosphere, very nice staff.
A fantastic location and prefect setting for a lovely afternoon tea. Staff were delightfully attentive, food was lovely; couldn’t have asked for more.
Everything was absolutely amazing especially the scones, worth a visit.
This was another return visit to The Rosebery, to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. Everything was just perfect. All the staff were very friendly and made sure we were very well looked after during our afternoon tea. The sandwiches were replenished several rimes, as were our teas and my wife champagne. This is without doubt the best venue in London.
Absolutely incredible experience! The staff are so attentive and take their time to explain everything, offer recommendations and make the experience really special. The food was some of the best I’ve had at an afternoon tea, a perfect mix of traditional and modern. The highlight was the congratulatory dessert that was brought out to celebrate my graduation, which was such a lovely surprise!
Keera and Ivas took great care of us. friendly service and the food was par excellence.
Good food and great location. Too noisy compared to other times I have been there. Very poor service given the price and the selling proposition they have: food and teas not coming on time, we had to ask many times for a refill or to get an additional tea. 3 different waiters were assigned to our table, making a lot of confusion with what had already been ordered and what not. At the end, they took away our stuffs without asking if we were done or not, or without offering anything more. All in all, a great location and high quality of food and ingredients not matching the service and the experience of exclusivity that I would have expected.
This was my second visit to the Rosebery for afternoon tea, and once again it didn’t disappoint. From the exceptional high quality flavours in all dishes, to the beautiful ambiance and outstanding service, it’s an afternoon tea that is not to be missed! Worth every penny!
Fantastic - we just loved it. Service Wars in top - and the personel was Nice and helpful.
It’s was lovely staff were amazing had a really lovely time
Excellent all round beautiful surroundings, relaxed, staff we’re excellent nothing too much trouble. Could eat as much over as little as you wanted of the festive afternoon tea, and felt you had Plenty of time.
Sadly there was a large group present which made the noise level uncomfortable. A kind waiter moved us further away but it was still not great. A number of things were forgotten and needed to be requested several times. Overall it would have been fine had the noise level not left me with a headache
This is an excellent place to meet in Central London. Fabulous atmosphere, great service and good food.
Excellent service, fantastic staff. Great items on the AT menu. Like the fact that it is not stuffy and formal like elsewhere and you can just relax and enjoy your company.
For £56 per person for tea I was expecting better scones than what was served (for starters they weren’t even warm). There was a lot of pomp and flair but the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. Full marks for ambience and service (classically Mandarin Oriental) but unfortunately I won’t be back
A fabulous 5 atar hotel with 5 star food and service. Couldn't fault anything. Food was wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed the Afternoon Tea with an amazing selection of teas and cakes... there is certainly more than enough to eat and of course more sandwiches can be ordered if required. The atmosphere is also relaxing and staff are so accommodating and friendly. Would highly recommend this afternoon tea for a treat or celebration. Lovely surroundings too.
The venue, food and overall ambience was very good. It is unfortunate that the service was very poor. Our waitress left very early on (might have been the end of her shift)and as a result we were left trying to get eye contact with one or another waitress throughout. I’m not sure why we’re not allocated with someone else to serve us, or why the team failed to attend to our table. It was a lovely and more relaxed environment than some other afternoon tea places.
Having tea at The Rosebery was a wonderful experience all around. Service was outstanding and the food was perfect in terms of quality and variety. We will happily return on our next visit to London.
Beautiful afternoon tea with my parents for my mum’s birthday! We had such a lovely time and everything was just perfect! Incredible service, big thank you to the staff for making it so special! We were very impressed with the quality of the food too with a very unique taste, just delicious! We will definitely come back!
A bit pricy than offered service, but good option for English afternoon tea experience. Sandwiches were not bad and sweets were great.
We were not quite sure what to expect but were pleasantly surpriused
Service was just excellent
Wonderful and interesting presentation of food
Did not feel rushed
Plenty of both tea and extra sandwiches
Would definitely recommend to others
Thoroughly enjoyable experience I would recommend
Only negative point was £7.00 for a bottle of water which I thought was excessive and when given the option I would always choose tap water to be environmentally friendly But was not offered this which was disappointing
Good service, lovely delicious sandwiches, cakes were very sweet and rich but didn’t know the still water cost £7 until the bill came!!
Amazing afternoon tea. Mouth watering sandwiches and scrumptious pastries!
Service was not as good as expected.
