Food is always excellent! This place is truly a gem. Great baked goods (gotta try the old fashion blackberry lime donut!) Brunch was outstanding and the staff are always friendly. Would recommend this place for just about any occasion.

We have been wanting to try Rose for a few years now, unfortunately both the food and ambience were very disappointing. The service was okay but so many things just make this a restaurant we would never try again. The only dish we had that was okay and only okay was the arugula salad. The bucatini carbonara was just bad and they used guanciale so I assumed it would be authentic, the fish of the day was cooked properly (moist) but the rest of the dish had too many ingredients with rubbery mushrooms and a bland mush like puree of???and small potato chips? Finally, the dessert of Nothing Bundt Apples was just not interesting or tasty. Rose appears to want a young hip crowd with loud music in a cavernous facility.

The main problem here is their inflexibility to customer requests. Want your bacon soft? No it’s precooked. Fruit instead of potatoes? No. Order a fruit plate for $12. The chef badly needs to get over himself

I'm a repeat diner for dinner at The Rose, however, this was my first time dining for brunch service. The menu and service was a bit of a let down as I was entertaining out of town guests. The restaurant didn't appear super packed or busy, however, based on the lack of service you would have thought it was. Food was just fine and it was disappointing the restaurant was already out of a couple entrees and pastries by our 12p brunch reservation. Would return for dinner, but probably not for brunch.

Charming breezy place. My dish (Shakshuka) was awful. Nearly raw dice vegetables in canned tomato sauce poured around a poorly poached egg. Toasted country boule was good. Delicious biscuits.

Came here on Saturday for lunch. They were crowded and our server Guiliana was also dealing with a birthday party for 12 nearby, but she was lovely and on top of things. My friend had the grain bowl, I had the cacio e pepe and a nice nebbiolo. We come here pretty often and food was as usual outstanding. The problem? They let this table next to us bring their TWO MASSIVE SLOBBERING DOGS. Come on, Rose! I know it's Venice, but draw the line. This isn't a sidewalk cafe. People who come here expect better.

The Rose is always fun and lively, but if you want to talk, it's far too noisy for an intimate conversation.The din inside is almost intolerable. Outside tables are easier on the ears. The food is meh and for that reason feels pricey. A chopped salad with smoked turkey was A) not chopped and B) had no flavor, wilted greens and a blah dressing. Only a few cubes of turkey. The egg whites with yams and sausage looked good. And other breakfasts and burgers are good. Note that last time we ate there, we were told there were no substitutions. This time, they allowed no cheese in the salad, etc. So can't really tell what the policy is.

We got a table outside. Our waiter was great. Caught me by surprise because he was a twin and his twin works there too. They were great. I had the breakfast sandwich which was delicious and the honey lavender latte. Yum! I love the Rose! Coming back again soon.

Menu has changed and not impressed and prices way up. Also, items not on the menu were never discussed with us (like Pizza) . Until now would recommend, but not now. Not sure if back.

Excellent food. Service was largely very good, though our waiter was much less attentive than the other staff. I wished that I could have tipped them instead. Outside dining was very pleasant, but if we had to eat inside it would have been a problem because they crank the music up too loud.

To be honest we used to like eat here.Ate here for lunch/brunch on Friday, four of us. Within an hour my future son in law was deathly I’ll..both ends.. for 30 hours.literally! He had the egg sandwich. I left a vm and sent an email. Never heard back Outrageously awful customer service. Off our list

The food was disappointing but the location; the ability to talk with friends without too much noise; the music; and the staff were Excellent! Please put more care into the food preparation/flavor. All four of us were disappointed, and it was a special occasion. Makes we want to come back for the venue, staff -- but only to order coffee. Our server Kyle was amazing. He made the experience overall a wonderful one. He was kind, attentive, and helped us celebrate our friend and her new job! In my honest opinion, the food wasn’t as great as I remember it being — it’s been a while since I’ve been in. It felt a little overpriced. I would still come back and give it another go — Maybe it was just an off night!

Horrible expensive food. The bread with dip costs $16 and the bread was cold and stale….the pizza was $25 but had no cheese..basically just bread and a few tomato slices…never had such expensive bad food.

Enjoyed our visit to The Rose on a late Saturday afternoon. Staff was friendly, but very busy. Guessing they were short staffed. Food generally was good, the vegan pizza, pastas, burger and fries. Fish tacos were not grilled fish. Very small amount of breaded fish and the chicken sandwich was too sweet. These two dishes were a disappointment.
