Never a disappointment. Love going here for brunch lunch or dinner. Good vegetarian options. Great drinks. Cute outdoor dining. Easy parking.
Cool place but way overpriced for the quality. Worth checking out once only.
First, COVID online menu did not have prices. They brought us paper menus, but then forgot drink menus. We had to ask again. Their Sea Cucumber Drink machine wasn’t working. They were out of some menu items. The food was mediocre, but overpriced. Not many heaters outside. That’s about it.
We have liked going to this place many times in the past. This review is mostly for covid. I don’t know how they are allowed to have diners in the tent that is mostly closed. So many people walking around with no masks either. Food was excellent. But we’ll do take out until it’s safe to eat there.
Food was delicious and service was amazing!!!! Thanks for a great night!
Amazing food, drinks and ambiance! Service was great and felt very safe.
Sat on very back patio (parking lot patio), so as nice as it can get I guess.
The Bee Pizza seemed quite pricey.
Enjoyed our visit.
Was there for brunch. Wasn't impressed with the menu selection and what I ordered.
Great food and great dining experience! We love coming here for both brunch and dinner
love this place
Love this place. Service was a bit slow, but worth it.
We were here as the new president was announced. It was wild on Rose and we were in the perfect location to see it all. It was pretty cold outside but they use art of tea and the earl gray was nice. I was super basic in my food choice from being hungover so I got a children’s plate of scrambled eggs and toast (thankful they let me order that) the hot sauce was extremely tasty. My cousin got the lox and enjoyed the sandwich and her girl got the huevos rancheros and she was cool with that too. Overall good experience even though it was cold out and I felt terrible but it was great to see the celebration on the streets with a heater next to me.
Great as usual!
We went for my friends birthday lunch. The lunch menu has changed since the pandemic. I expected delicious sandwiches, salads, and great lunch options but unfortunately the menu did not have these items.
We ordered the octopus ceviche, it was very fishy and seemed old abs very chewy. The chicken shawarma salad was small and not tastey. The Korean fried chicken sandwich was heavily seasoned and dressed, very overwhelming in thick sauce.
The pepperoni pizza and fries were the only good dishes we had unfortunately.
Also food is overpriced and small portions. I was very disappointed.
Above average prices and above average food
It was good not great experience
Great dining experience, we ordered from the Lunch menu and the portions were generous. Definitely make reservations as this is a popular destination for those that have enjoyed a meal at the Rose Cafe.
Highly recommended.
Everything was absolutely delicious. Staff is great and helpful in choosing what to order. Drinks are bomb and we felt safe the whole time 👍🏼 go go go
Great atmosphere and food. Highly recommend anything on the menu. Very pleased with the overall experience.
Really wanted this to be good but alas! Three of us ordered two chef neroni-style and one breakfast sandwich
Suspicions were aroused when the two chef neroni-style arrived 90 seconds after ordering .... hmmm how long have they been lying around!
Then the wait- 25 to 30 minutes later the breakfast sandwich arrived which was basically the chef neroni-style breakfast constructed
And the rub was the bacon - if you are going to sell a bacon chop instead of bacon call it that... far too thick to call it bacon and far too fatty
To the servers credit he didn’t charge for the sandwich but at @ still over $125 (inc tip) for 3 bloody Mary’s and the two breakfasts a complete rip off
Great service from Britney! 👍🏼
Crab risotto was a little too “fishy and hangar steak was served unsliced... which I’ve never seen before and makes it a difficult “shared” plate especially during covid. It was cooked to the right doneness but lacked flavor. The best thing we ordered was the persimmon, tomato & ricotta salad
So great will go back for brunch with more friends! Got the pancakes which were amazing.
Awesome experience. Super trendy cute spot!
The food was very average. The lunch menu is much better. We went for dinner and you couldn't order any of the pizzas and that's the best thing they have. The service was average too, the server didn't know too much info. The restaurant was also pretty empty and they stuck us at a table in the front on the street. We asked if we can move to a table in the back since there are so many tables back there and the area is much more enjoyable. (No crazy Venice people to interrupt your dinner). Prob would only go back for lunch. Also it's extremely overpriced for subpar food.
We sat in outdoor patio in the back of the restaurant. The ambiance was lacking. Food is very expensive for what it is.
We tried the pizza. It was absolutely amazing!
Horrible service. At least two items that were ordered turned out to be unavailable (the waiter came back to tell us some time after the order was placed.). Things showed up at random times but with significant delays. Kids food, which was supposed to be there first, showed up towards the end. They attempted to serve us somebody else’s food. Had to wait for a very long time to finally feed the kids. One of the adults in our party got their food before the kids, which was odd. We asked to speak to the manager, who was basically absolutely useless. She basically said that it was Kitchen‘s fault and left it at that. She said there’s nothing she could do about Kitchen mistakes. I have never spoken to a less useless manager ever in any hospitality establishment. We will not be back. Food was so so.
The food was over priced and not of good quality..
Always amazing! Delicious unique food and drinks! LOVE!
Worst service. Server forgot 2 of our meals and had to out them in , so no one ate at the same time.
Rose Venice is one of our all time favorite restaurants and it was so nice to revisit in such a tough and unpredictable time. We haven't eaten out yet and we chose Rose as our first spot, because we've always been so comfortable there. The tables were seated well beyond 6 ft and all waiters and staff were masked and even had face shields on. We felt super safe and were able to relax a bit and enjoy ourselves. Best espresso martini out there! Thank you Rose.
Right after I had the endive salad I was sold. I will most definitely return. THANK YOU 🤗
Lovely place delicious food great service
The food was just outstanding! Will come back! Only concern is we asked our waiter if our order was a good amount of food and it turned out to be WAY too much, like we wanted to cancel the last 3 dishes because everything was huge and they could have told us that.
Lovely place. Ran out of my choice for lunch but the second choice was delicious.
Awesome place. The Somm helped us pick some awesome bottles of wine that were exactly what we were looking for. Service was GREAT. Atmosphere really cool. And food on point. Probably our best eating out experience in LA for the 2 weeks we were visiting.
It was ehhh
Too noisy
Servers were nice and friendly!
Been here twice. I don’t understand what the hype is. Food has been mediocre at best. Good ambiance.
