Amazing view. A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
This restaurant is super cute and the food is delicious! You get an OUTSTANDING view of Beverly Hills and the atmosphere is great! The staff is very friendly too! Highly recommend!
Amazing spot with great view, delicious food and good service! My new hang out.
I was not happy with the lobster burger. It was very peppery and runny and the lobster pieces were chewy. The ceasar salad was fine, the french fries were good but as I said the lobster burger was disappointing. I love the ambience and the view. I think I just ordered the wrong thing.
Overall good experience! Chicken tacos were good !
I was excitedly anticipating the peach daiquiri as my cocktail drink to start the night. The waiter said that it was “out of season” which to me was confusing answer. First off- we werent dinning at some happy hour joint, secondly it made us confused thinking that the pineapple or cherry dishes/drinks would not be in season too. Really confusing and frankly tainted the start of dinner. Its one thing if your out of it but to say “out of season” was strange and confusing. The dinner ended great and everyone was attentive and helpful and thankful the bartender made an alternate drink. I still want that peach daiquiri though. :)
Incredible meal and a wonderful setting
Great view, great service. The food and the ambience are lacking. People next to us were smoking weed and nothing was done about it.
Very friendly staff and service
Food was tasty and it was a good vibe
Perfect spot for a n epic date
Great view and service. Food is good. A bit on the pricey side. Cocktails are all $20+.
I went to the Rooftop by JG for my boyfriend's birthday; overall, the service and ambiance were excellent, the food good. Our waitress, Harmony, was kind and provided us blankets, moved a heat lamp, and sent along a complimentary chocolate cake slice without me requesting one. Overall, these extra touches and the exceptional view made the night one to remember :)
Fantastic every time.
Gorgeous view. Food was delish. Service was great. Parking is expensive!
Lots of heaters and blankets made the 50 degree weather bearable and the view is amazing. They have changed the menu a bit and the portions have become smaller but it is still an awesome location. Really annoyed about the valet parking now at $20 with validation. That is ridiculous.
Absolutely wonderful place for lunch! There's simply no other restaurant in Los Angeles with a view like this, and I love the outdoor bar area with comfortable couch seating and totally cool music playing. Oh yes, and the food was good too!
Setting and view are pretty but food is so overpriced it is ridiculous ($15 to add chicken to a Cobb salad!). Portions are very small. Parking is $20 with a validation. Absurd.
Terrific experience - highly recommended for a wonderful evening.
Perfect as always with service right on point. Especially love their guacamole and burger.
Really the best service and they have free birthday ice cream.
Beautiful restaurant, nice hotel and stunning view. But the food is really overpriced.
This is the most beautiful restaurant I’ve been to in Los Angeles. The price of the validated parking unfortunately is over the top. The food is good. But the view is the stand out. It would be a wonderful place to go for drinks with friends.
Excellent for sunset watching
Everything was great except we ordered sunny side up eggs and they came folded with a fully cooked yolk. Server forgot my lemonade and waited approx 15 min to get the check.
Even though it was a chilly day, you accommodated us with 2 heaters on either side of our table with really the most spectacular PANORAMA view of Beverly Hills . The surprise was that the sun came out from behind the clouds and we really were so warm sitting , outdoors on the rooftop, that we put the heater on the LOW setting. Your server was friendly, informed us about each item , we selected from the menu, refilled our water and coffee as needed. He even took our camera and took several souvenir snapshots of my guests and myself. Thank you for making our " Brunch/Lunch on the Rooftop " such a wonderful Holiday Experience.
Love the Rooftop by JG and the weather plained nicely into our plans this year.
As always - great service and pretty good food.
If anything we were surprised that its becoming hard to find anything on the menu that is not rather spicy. guess thats the fashion these days.
Excellent lunch experience.
Love the view.
Driskel was awesome because he brought a blanket.
They forgot about us twice (we had to ask to order, twice)
They forgot one of my husband’s drinks
They did not offer us a heating lamp, but moved one over for another couple sitting close by (without prompts)
Food was delicious, but we definitely expect more for the high-end nature of this establishment.
This particular experience was lack luster.
Rooftop highly recommended. Amazing view, great service, excellent food.
Great views! Pricey but worth it for a few drinks and watching the sunset!
It was good up until you guys removed the heater from us and settled it next to someone who already had a heater. My date started freezing which pushed for us to leave sooner. I’m pretty disappointed
Gorgeous location but food and drinks lefts much to be desired. Would probably only go back for a glass of wine.
I've been to the Rooftop several times for special occasions - and last night we gathered for a holiday celebration with old friends... an annual tradition. However, it was too pricey for the experience. The food was small portions, and not that impressive for the price. The cocktails were OUTLANDISHLY expensive - 25 dollars for a SMALL drink. Really silly. Plus add 13 dollars for valet... and the evening cost more than it was worth. That said - the view is UNBEATABLE. Maybe a better place for an expense account.
Was in town to see Cyndi Lauper's fundraising event 'Home for the Holidays.' The view on the Rooftop of the WA at JG was breathtaking. Words can not do it justice. It was recommended by the hostess at the Peninsula Hotel as we booked our 5PM afternoon tea, and the ambiance, staff, and 'THE VIEW' surpassed any expectations we had. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone visiting the area. We only spend twenty minutes there for a cocktail at sunset, and I would love to stay longer next time. It was very relaxing. The cocktails were a bit pricy, and surprisingly worth it for the experience.
Love everything about this place from the service, menu and the amazing view
I highly recommend the sashimi for the appetizer and the burgers too!
A must visit in Beverly Hills. The hotel is the latest and greatest in LA. Food is amazing.
Karen our server created a memorable experience. Was attentive with being intrusive. A pleasant personality.
I absolutely loved The Rooftop by JG! The Waldorf Astoaria LA has beautiful rooftop views both at night and during the day. The drinks were delicious and the food was amazing. I highly recommend this to everyone to experience this dinning experience.
First class service with amazing views on the rooftop bar. Be prepared to pay sky high prices for the ambience.
