   The ambiance is a winner alone but the food was great, and that’s the most important part. I have to admit, I was taken by surprise by the quality. Sometimes rooftop restaurants can be really overrated but this place was really nice!

   Exceptional service from Nick and the food was fantastic! We will definitely be back for dinner and perhaps when out of town guests come. The views are amazing even on an overcast day. Truly a nice place to have a meal and/or drinks!

   Great rooftop for drinks and a beautiful view. Food is nothing to write home about and is expensive for what you’re getting but that’s not surprise because it’s a Waldorf restaurant. Will definitely be back for drinks and the great view.

    The view is brilliant. Busy spot, with a nice vibe. Unfortunately, not one of the dishes were good. All very flat and disjointed. Tasteless and tres expensive. Too bad, for such a great hotel. Nice for drinks, but not dinner.

    It was great! Unfortunately was a cloudy day but the view still amazing! We went to see the place because my wife is planning her birthday there with her girlfriends! So…Yes! This is a place to go. For a romantic date or a nice chill date night!

    Food, service and ambience were great. View to the city is gorgeous. Food was so delicious and served really fast. Kimberley was so good, courteous and was very informative in helping us choose the best of the drinks, appetizers and main course.. Would go there again and again!

    Great ambiance and friendly interactions with other guests. It has a spectacular view. It’s a great place to celebrate a special event or afternoon attitude adjustment. BH dressy, chic. Bring a sun hat.

    The entire experience was extremely underwhelming. We were there last year during Mother’s Day and it was amazing. This year we got a call a couple of days before Mother’s Day to tell us it’s a prefix menu. We went with our kids and they charged us astronomical numbers for zero service. We won’t go back on holidays If they continue prefix.

    Not worth the $$$$. The view is obviously fantastic, and that's what you're paying for. There are a couple tables that have no cover from the sun. If you get seated at one of these, good luck. I asked one of the servers if we could get an umbrella brought over, but he said no. A few minutes later, I saw a different server bringing one for a different table. Unfortunately, the small umbrella didn't even provide shade for everyone at that table, and I was left squinting for the entire meal. The food was fine.. nothing to write home about. I'm all for dishing out the cash for quality food and experience, but JG falls woefully short.

    I was I town for a Mother’s Day retreat with a friend and we dined here for the first time. We shared the quacamole and the pasta. It was delicious, but unfortunately we both got sick less than an hr later and was sick through the night. I called and left a message the next day with the restaurant to make them aware and left my number for them to call back thinking they might want to investigate to ensure other guests don’t get sick. It’s been a couple of weeks now and I’m surprised and disappointed that they have not returned my call.

    The rooftop restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria is spectacular. You're really not going for the food, which isn't very good. Line up a place to eat afterward, or just go for the drinks (which are also not that great). But the views, the aesthetics, the style, and the scene just cannot be beat. You will see media execs and Beverly Hills ladies who lunch and full leopard print suits with studded Armani sunglasses and influencers and entertainers and the out-of-towners who are so sweet and smiley, you immediately know they're not from here. If you're looking for a quintessential Beverly Hills/Los Angeles experience of young money, whether to envy or mock, or both - this is it. You're guaranteed to spot someone semi-famous or someone who looks like they probably are famous, although everyone is quite discreet here. The later you go, the more of a scene it is. Come around sunset for one of the most devastatingly beautiful views of the hills of LA, and a sobering perspective on how the rich out here live. It costs and arm and a leg, so save your pennies, and make sure to hang out for a while.

    Horrible service. Sat us down at a table that required us to order food but didn’t let us know beforehand. The manager proceeded to argue with us about it. We decided to leave without ordering anything. The drinks are overpriced anyways.

    I loved my first visit to the JG Rooftop - we had excellent service, ate delicious food, and drank in the view (and some cocktails). The food was expensive, but I considered the gorgeous views to be part of the cost. I would come back any day, highly recommend if you’re looking for a breathtaking view and an exceptional experience
