We found the entrees to be strange, the choices were poultry, fish, and pork. The one beef item was a burger. There were limited starches, no potato and the vegetables were very limited. Choices such as Yucca, Brussels sprouts, Polenta cake, celery root, and broccolini. The waitress asked if it was a special occasion and I told her it was our anniversary. My dessert plate arrived with Happy Birthday written beside it. I think the chef is trying too hard to be sophisticated. I would like to try lunch there, I will not go back for dinner, it is also very expensive. The view is the greatest asset.
We had a beautiful evening at the Pelham. We were able to watch the moon as we sipped our drinks and ate our delicious dinner.
The staff was very friendly and informative. The food was delicious and nicely presented. The view was spectacular, and the sunset beautiful. All in all, a lovely evening.
The food at the Pelham House is phenomenal and the service was great. We had Kristen as a waitress and she was very knowledgeable with great suggestions. I will definitely be back there in the near future.
Not sure why there are so many bad reviews! This place was great. Beautiful setting, excellent food, cordial and mindful service! Highly recommend!
Birthday. the day was spectacular and we were entertained by seals
The roof deck was really windy because of the rain. We were seated in front of an open panel and we were getting wet and my hair was flying into my mouth a lot . We asked to be moved to another spot which they did. It improved the rain situation slightly. We didn’t get bread until we asked . The food was not great and you got very little for the money. My husband has the venison carpaccio and it was inedible . The Brussels sprouts were the best thing we ate. The roasted chicken breast was cold and I was afraid it was not cooked throughout. The polenta that came with was rock hard and difficult to eat. My husband had the scallops and there were like 5! He was done his entree in minutes - not enough food there . For dessert, my husbands coffee was cold. The dessert of pears and cream wasn’t great. Our waiter, Kyle, was chatty but we were definitely not his priority. We were disappointed it was raining but more disappointed that the food was so lackluster considering how expensive this place is.
Great for a special occasion. Impressive view. The food & drinks were fabulous- our server was great. Even though it was a rainy night- we were comfortable with the heaters and were able to enjoy the rooftop ambiance
Perfect evening! The menu was appealing to all(tween and teen joined us)! The view was amazing and the atmosphere was fun!
Great service, meal and wonderful atmosphere! The whole extra is transformative!
Great view, great food and service. Highly recommend it?
Great food and view
Great staff and food
It's always a perfect dining experience! The food is the best quality and the view from the rooftop can't be beat!
The food was delicious, service was impeccable, and the view was outstanding. Great place for brunch, lunch, or a sunset dinner. Highly recommend!
Specisls where different from other places. Steak and haddock perfect
Food was ok, fish and scallops were overcooked. Service was good. Great view, but the prices were too high.
Exceeded our expectations
Food was delicious and great presentations
Brought friends from out of town and really enjoyed the evening
Will definitely be back soon
I ordered the Halibut meal and should have asked the waitress more details on the sides. Noted it had asparagus, which I like but did not know what the other sides were. I did not realize the fish would be served in a bowl soaked in a spicy tomato presentation with the asparagus also in this mixture. I have reflux and could not eat the dish. Had to switch plates with my wife who did not enjoy it. I brought the issue to the waitress promptly after being served hoping it might motivate her to see if the meal could be swapped out but received no offer. I understand and my wife told me I should not have expected the offer but regardless I was very disappointed. My fault for not asking more questions when I was not totally sure how the halibut would be prepared. However, I thought, or hoped, an upscale restaurant would consider the circumstances. This was my second time at the Pelham House. Not planning on returning for a third as there were not the typical mainstream items on the menu that I enjoy, which is unfortunate as the view is phenomenal. Please note that I received excellent service from the waitress but I expect from past experience she knew the managers opinion of replacing meals so the offer was not made. Again, the issue could have been avoided if I was more proactive on checking the menu items.
The Pelham House is my new favorite restaurant in Dennis. Not only are the views breathtaking, the food is always consistently delicious. Although the prices are a bit high it is a Resort setting with Outstanding service. Some favorites are the burger (not your regular burger), The crabcake, calamari, and the other day I had chicken tacos. Fantastic!
Great food, service, setting. Second time here in a few weeks and going back next week. I have zero criticisms or suggestions. They do everything right
Great view, food and a lovely waitress Renee
Kyle was not my favorite. When asked if we could buy another shrimp said no. We have dined here many times.
Great as always. We went for “brunch”. We were a little disappointed there were only 3 items on the brunch menu. I know it’s the off season but
Our server was the best. She was fun and took great care of us. The view and the food and the service were all excellent...
Would not eat there on a damp, cool or inclement weather. Chose the rooftop patio and it was very, very noisy given all the side plastic "walls" were down and the roof vents closed. The ambiance was not very becoming for fine dining. Manager did what he could to accomodate our requests to adjust ceiling vents, but then it got very windy. Should have stuck with the bar. Definitely go there when the weather is nice, warm and you can take in the view. Skip it on a bad weather day. Kristen, our server, did a wonderful job at tolerating our requests.
We loved our time at the Rooftop Restaurant! The beverages and food were delicious. The menu seemed to provide a great variety of choices. The decor and atmosphere were lovely! Our only complaint was that the noise level made it a little challenging to hear each other.
Everything was outstanding! Food, service, wine, and especially the view.
The rooftop experience is like no other on the Cape. Ashley Macdonald is a terrific asset to this amazing restaurant !!
Lovely experience. Excellent service. Delightful setting.
Food was disappointing. Limited menu
Pizza was terrible
Nice evening with excellent food and terrific service. Love the view and the ambience.
