   Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty food and well presented. Nice ambience. Really liked the fairy lights.

   The young girl at the bar was so sweet and patient towards us! The service and food was great, loved the pub, very friendly and cozy :)

   We had a lovely post hike meal in the beer garden. It was peaceful and sunny, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious - fresh and flavourful. The pasta portion size could have been larger was the only room for improvement, but we very much enjoyed it and would come again.

   Excellent fish and chips, friendly prompt service. We had lunch then a funeral and then wake in their excellent function room with a good range of nibbles. Nice garden too.

   Lovely meal. We had the burger and ham egg and chips and was very tasty and the best we have had for a while. Really stunning new dining area and great service.

   this was one of the best meals we have had at the Roebuck. Lovely sea bass with stir fried veg and rice, and chicken korma - both delicious its so good to have a fresh food option like fresh fish and fresh vegetables more of this please

   First time going to this pub due to recommendations from friends. I chose the roast beef and my husband chose the 3 meat roast. The waitress brought the dinner over to us and said what was what which ended up me having the 3 meat roast, which actually turned out to be a 2 meat roast with just beef and pork as she told us what was what incorrectly. Luckily I just gave him the pork from my plate, which should have been his plate but there was no chicken. We couldn't just swap plates as he had already put salt, pepper etc on and I don’t have that on my food. The food was nice but the meat was a bit fatty, we just cut the fat off but there was a lot of it. The Pub itself was really cold which made us rush our dinner so we could get back into the car to get warm. I probably wouldn’t rush back to this pub but maybe in the summer when it will be warmer

    Christmas lunch 2025. We totally understand no one wants to work Xmas day and that you pay a premium for this. However, service was very slow between courses, we were placed in the middle of a walkway and people constantly brushed past us. The vegetables were raw, bullet sprouts. I left most of it. Starter and dessert were nice. Never treated ourselves to this before but will be cooking ourselves next year. Wine from Kent was delicious, really recommend that.
