The Rock Wood Fired Pizza - Vancouver
Valentines date night
The drinks were alright but the overall vibe was fun. This was a date for Valentine’s Day so we expected it to be very busy.
Over the years we have moved several times. One of the things we always look for is a good mechanic to maintain our cars. We found one. The other thing we look for right away is a good pizza place. We found that at The Rock! We are and will continue to be repeat customers.
I moved to Vancouver 5 months ago and have been searching for a new Friday spot. This may be it.
I specifically made a reservation so that we werent put in a booth and I stated that and I was blatantly ignored then the host made it a huge deal when I mentioned it
Great food and service! This place is loud, so don't go if you want quiet conversation. We went for weekend fun with friends.
The food was good. The wait staff was nice and polite. The attention to the customer could of been just a little bit more. Once you get your food they disappear. I had to ask them to fill my water glass. Food was just a little bit pricey. The noise level was a little loud, hard to hear our conversation. Over all a good experience.
We had a date night , everything was great. Mellisa was are server and she was AWESOME! Made sure we had everything we needed plus listen to what you had to say, and made sure she got everything right, make sure you were happy with what you ordered. We can say enough about her service, but SHE IS AWESOME!!!!
Thanks for a great night.

Went for Christmas Eve dinner with my family (6 people). Showed up 5 minutes prior to reservation time. We were told that online “reservations” through OpenTable don’t actually assign a table in their system so the best they could do was two booths back-to-back...When I refused to accept that we had to wait 30minutes for a table. So much for the reservation. The food was decent but the drinks were exceptionally weak. Probably ok for lunch but I won’t be taling the family again for dinner anytime soon.
Very friendly staff and pizza was very good. Price of the food was AMAZING!
Great experience. We had a large group and our server didn't miss a beat.
2 out of 3 food orders were served wrong. The lettuce in the salad was visibly discolored and tasted out of date. Our server tried her best to cover for the kitchen errors but they were too obvious. Perhaps we should have stuck too the wood fired pizza. Most likely will not return.
Wonderful service from Joelle... and amazing food from the kitchen. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Clean, loud music, decent pizza. Lots of 80s hard rock /metal a plus for me. Not crazy busy anymore. Our service disappeared after we ordered and took a while to get our orders. One was wrong. Nothing was so bad that I would not go back.
Cute place with music themes (the booths were upholstered with material printed with rock songs). Delicious and affordable, quick service. All good!
Great atmosphere. Amazing pizza and drinks. (The buckets are well worth it). Awesome customer service!
One of my favorite places to go for a good beer, good food and good conversation
great onion rings, pizza was so-so, service was fair
Only thing we had a hard time with was the music, but had a great time!
Very accommodating to what we asked for for our reservation. Service was awesome, food was delicious, we will be back!
Our service was amazing and we had a big party with kids. Food was all fantastic. Pizza was great, but the appetizer fries were the best we’ve ever had. Can’t say enough about our server, he was wonderful. No one ever had an empty glass. Well done!
The Rock always has excellent food and great service. The ambiance is family-oriented and airy so it’s on the noisy side.
The prices are reasonable but a bit on the higher side (the largest-size pizzas can range close to $30 and burgers can be ~$15).
Know that going in and you won’t be disappointed - the food’s great and the service is on-point.
Our server Brad provided excellent service....thank you Brad!
Most awesome pizza in The Couve. Garlic pizza bread is to die for <3
Was a really great place to spend my 21st Birthday! Will definitely be recommending to friends :)
Salad I ordered sounded great but extremely basic old croutons used, the order took FOREVER once placed what should have been a quick dinner took over an hour. The pizza was good the kids pasta not very good at all
Been hete before. ..its. been better. Took really long time to get food.
My family and I have unfortunately had this experience now twice at this location; bad service. The waitress this time was friendly, but when going to a sit down restaurant, you expect to be checked on, drinks refilled, and nothing forgotten. And since we were there at 530p for dinner, it wasn't that busy. Our side salad showed up with long hair dangling from it, we were never asked about our beverages, even though our water glasses and my husbands beer were empty, and she never came by to see if we needed anything else. Just dropped off the bill. Since I've been to other local locations and have not had these experiences, I'll reserve eating at the Rock to not the Vancouver location.
Took the kids to dinner pizza was great and service was wonderful, very friendly and personable waiter
We asked for the large family-sized Ceasar salad, and receive a very poor imitation. The lettuce was wilted throughout, and the dressing was absolutely lack-luster. Nothing about it said "Ceasar Salad," and I think they need to drop it from their menu until they can figure out what distinguishes a Ceasar from an ordinary vinegar and oil dressing.
Delicious food. Would have liked a larger selection of food choices.
Great food and great music. Or table was ready on arrival. Service very good. And did I mention the food and music were great.
Excellent meal even better service Audrina a little spend for pizza place but still a great time
The service was fast, friendly, and everything tastes great!
I was told I could reserve the area upstairs and my party was only 10 people. They wouldn't let me, it was noisy and hard to even have my meeting.
Great service. Our table was ready when we arrived 10 minutes early. Good pizza.
It was a real treat to spend my birthday with my wife at The Rock. Best pizza, great music, our waitress was outstanding. Will eat there again and again.
Great food. Great service. Brad was our service and was very friendly and accurate with our order. The pizza and salads we ordered were delicious! I would recommend this place!
I took my youth group for pizza after they led a service. We all enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Great place to go with young people!
