At The Rock Wood Fired Pizza, our famous pizza is only the beginning. We opened our doors in 1995 as a gritty, local pizza joint in Tacoma with gourmet pizzas, special microbrews and Rocktails, and a unique atmosphere that quickly gained recognition as a venue for everyone. After 20 years of business, we are proud to have numerous locations throughout Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Texas.

Well, depends. Maybe for a small group (4 or less) but not for more than 5 people. We asked for a table and had 7 people and they had all 7 adults shoved into a booth for 6 people. We did not even have enough room move much less eat. After about 10 requests, they finally moved 2 tables and then it was ok. We should not have had to beg to get seated in a proper seating place for 7 people. Will go where we can sit comfortably next time.

I was visiting from California but my nephew and son mentioned they had been there before and the reviews were still good! I loved the garlic bread with brown sugar!!! I had the pear walnut salad and it was fantastic!

The noise level is very high, making it difficult to hold a conversation. Pizza was very tasty. Service was slow.. little things like having to ask for ice in drinks was irritating

Went with a group of friends this weekend and had a terrible experience. The server accidentally dumped another table’s open container of cheese dip in my friend’s open backpack. It was literally covering everything in her backpack and he just handed her a rag and walked away and continued to ignore us and serve other tables. Didn’t apologize and didn’t help clean up the mess everywhere. When another server came up to drop off plates at our table we told her what happened and she went and got the manager. Manager gave my friend more towels to clean her stuff with and offered to comp her meal and pay for dry cleaning for the bag. Original server then delivered my friend her full bill not comped. Other bills at the table had mixed up orders from across the group. Had to go get the manager to get my friends meal comped as promised. Overall very poor experience though we appreciated the manager comping the meal and paying for cleaning the bag. In addition the pizza was mediocre and the drinks were terrible.

Normally it's a good experience, but this time around was not. We ordered a kids cheeseburger and regular bacon cheeseburger, all plain. The kids meal was fine, but the bacon burger came out with all of the toppings on it and. O bacon, so we asked for it to be fixed. The waitress offered to scrape the sauce off and bring a side of bacon...what a joke! No we want yo remade. The new burger never came back, my daughter was finished eating and the new bacon burger never came. We left after that and went somewhere else so my husband could eat. Very disappointing!

Made a reservation, was seated promptly. Get to the table waitress comes and takes the drink order. Waited a while for drinks to be delivered and refills took forever. We order our apps and pizza all at once. First the mozzarella bread sticks came, they were okay. ( not what we expected ) the after we finish the bread stick she says let me check on your other app. Then brings our other app chips and dip. Chips where stale and some were soggy. Then our pizza came after the waitress stated the kids meals should arrive before the pizzas. Pizza was good, but definitely not worth the dollar amount they charge. We had to ask for our kids meals then also ask for the drinks for the kids too. Overall it’s was okay.

Decided to come here on Fathers Day - ordered food for my daughters bc we were waiting for the rest of our party. Food took forever, finally had to ask and they came right back with it and it was clear by the dried out bread the food had been sitting in the window for a long time. We didn't get napkins or silverware either. Sadly, the other part of our group didn't end up joining us so that was annoying as well. When asked if the food was ok I said no and explained why. Manager came by and I told him the same and asked if we wanted it right, by this time I'm over it and just want the check. Another 15-20mins goes by and get my bill and they took off the girls meals which was nice but still a truly regrettable time.
