Good draft and bottled beer choices, good dinner menu selection, ambience and excellent service.
Repeat visit. Consistently good food and service. A little loud making conversation difficult. Otherwise a very good restaurant.
Found the food to just ok, prices I thought were high for cocktails. My husbands steak again was good but nothing to write home about.
Not a very large menu but service was great and food was good. Great location.
Friendly and efficient service. Great cocktails and a menu with something for everyone. Have never been disappointed.
Great food! Nice ambiance for a fun night or date night. Spicy shrimp risotto and the braised short ribs were amazing!!!
Overall, food is very good. Service was solid as far as attentiveness and most orders coming out correctly and timely, but didn’t appreciate the upcharge for brand name liquor that wasn’t requested for a dessert martini.
Place is very noisy.
Good meal good drink. Staff very attentive. Second time for dinner. Will be back
Atmosphere was great! Food was delicious! Would recommend to dine at!
We had best experience EVER!
Food and service is great...cold beer wine list good wait staff friendly and helpful
Love the cheese plate, salads are big enough to share, great service, tasty burgers and truffle fries!
The food was good the service by Dawn was wonderful.
We had a very lovely dinner. The food, the service and and atmosphere was top notch for a casual dining restaurant. Highly recommend.
The fish tacos are awesome, along with a variety of other cozy, comfort food choices. Everyone will find something they like. They have a great cocktail menu, and desserts are good too. It’s on the noisier side, but that does not bother me. The service is good, not above average; but we were well taken care of
Food was good. But had reservations For 6:30 and wasn’t seated till 7:10. People without reservations were seated quicker. What’s the purpose of reservation if you have to wait 40 minutes
Love all the McLoone spots but this is one of my favorites. Casual dining, simple but great menu, good food and great selection of beers.
Had a nice evening out with my wife at the Ale House. Our waiters were attentive and the quality of the food was very good. A nice but not enormous beer selection.
Attentive staff & great food!
Service was excellent. The menu offered many choices. The portion size as expected.
Food was prepared nicely.
We have been to Robinson Ale House several times and have always had an enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend.
Table was ready when we got there. food was delicious. Service was friendly and nothing took too long, but we also didnt feel rushed
Great lunch menu. Good service. Enjoyed the grilled cheese with short rib
On a busy Saturday night our waitress was attentive and personable. The food arrived hot and was delicious. We will definitely be returning.
Really enjoyed our dinner at The Robinson Ale House. Great options to accommodate all 5 of us - from great burgers to fine dinners. Service was great also. Would recommend for a fun night out.
Atmosphere urban chic and earthy elements make a for a comfortable few hours to share a good meal with a friend. Waiter was fabulous, food and drinks excellent. Moderately priced. LOVED upholstered booth seating, A+. I would suggest there not be 4 young girls at the Hostess Station all at the same time for over 15 minutes while I waited for my person.
Great food and service. We sat outside on a beautiful day. Our server was friendly and helpful.
Service was great. Entrees took a little long to come to table but everything else came out on time.
Nice place. Food was good. Service was very good. Nice bar.
Made reservations through OpenTable and upon arrival our table was ready, no waiting. The server allows time for conversation, starters, and drinks before taking dinner orders. This was much appreciated.
Food was good and service was excellent. Great beer selection, as you would expect.
Food was good. Manager was very nice when we encountered a situation with not understanding if the turkey burger was cooked properly. Overall, nice and would be a repeat customer because of the customer service
I have had a wonderful time and a wonderful meal at RAH in the past but the evening we went was pretty lousy. The chicken wings appetizer was great as usual but the skirt steak was unimpressive and the fish and chips were soggy with cold fries, as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp way too long before going out to the table. Our server was unsmiling to the point of occasionally seeming sullen. We were torn between being disgusted with how she was behaving or staging an intervention because she might be clinically depressed. If she is a person going through a bad time, we don't want to kick her while she's down but if that was her typical behavior she needs some serious re-training and supervision. She was hardly audible, not at all welcoming and brought us the check without asking if we wanted dessert or coffee. All in all a deeply unsatisfying and unduly expensive meal out. We won't be back.
This was my first time at the Ale House. We had a 6PM Sat night reservation for 4. Seating was prompt. The service and food were both excellent. The restaurant was unable to prepare the pork chop special which was disappointing for early on a w/e night, but everything else was great. I highly recommend the spinach and brie stuffed chicken with the Robinson Salad. The rest of my party enjoyed the steak fajita and salmon. We will definitely go again.
Seafood risotto was absolutely amazing, and Exceptional service From Liam!!!
Food was cold. Fish n chips cold as well and not very good. I had chicken stuffed wit Brie and it was fair. Will not be back.
Service was great. Food was greasy and over cooked. Table next to us order same thing and it looked great. Kitchen needs to be consistant and not send out over cooked greasy food hoping customer won’t complain.
The salmon Niçoise salad was fantastic. I just returned from France and this salad was as good or better than the authentic french niçoise. I always order salads when I eat out and this one was top notch.
Making reservations on line was so very easy (just be sure to select the correct number of diners I missed that & ended up calling to correct) The Meal & Dessert was very good. I would recommend to others. We had Fish & Chips, Salmon, Crab Cakes, Pan Fried Trout and Salad with Salmon. For dessert we had Rice Pudding, Cheesecake and the Birthday boy shared the Chocolate Chip Cookie with his sister. His sister being employed in the restaurant/catering biz said she had better but it was ok. I would love to go back again someday.
We were down in Red Bank for the day from NYC. We'd been to Robinson Ale House previously and had a good experience so we decided to celebrate my husband's birthday there. He had the fish tacos, I had the Robinson's salad with grilled chicken and my teenage son's both had burgers. We all really enjoyed our meals. With it being a 90-degree summer Sunday, there weren't too many people in the restaurant, but we didn't mind since that meant we got great service. Would definitely go again.
