Since taking over the venue, we have been working hard to transform the building into a truly special pub, restaurant and coffee house.

Whatever reason you may have for visiting us – a healthy or hearty breakfast, a coffee with home-baking beside our wood-burning stove or downstairs with the kids in the play area, fantastic food with family in our restaurant, a glass of wine or a local beer with friends in our bar or on the riverside terrace – we assure you of a friendly welcome from staff who care.

Please let us know when you book if you are bringing your dog and we will reserve a suitable table.

The Riverside really is our dream come true and we look forward to welcoming you through its doors.

    We were celebrating 2 birthdays yesterday, father and daughter with birthdays on same day. We had a lovely meal and it suited us very well. Service was very good and friendly. Makes such a difference when you have a mixed group. We were there last year for the same celebration and hope to do the same next year too!

    Great meal to celebrate our anniversary. Large plant-based menu as well as the standard meat options. Friendly staff, really tasty starter and main, decent value. Would definitely return next time we’re in Dunblane.

    A bit disappointed overall, we both had the special beef roast dinner was lukewarm and one of the meats was a bit tough.
