Very tasty food. Not masses of food but a good amount to enjoy. Interesting combinations. With regards the overall good quality I would have expected a higher level of cleanliness.

Fantastic setting, we had the benefit of glorious sunshine and ate in the garden. Service was superb. Cannot fault it

We were warmly greeted at the pub and shown to a lovely upstairs dining area overlooking the outside front. The service was warm and the staff were knowledgable. The food I would describe as fine dining, as we went in the evening and was worth every penny. Tasty well presented with a touch of class. My only negative point would be the lack of parking at the pub in general. The car park is very small and we had to park on the road outside.

Beautiful location and setting, lovely ambience, staff friendly and helpful, food delicious. Absolutely perfect.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch, we didn’t have to wait long for the table. All the serving staff were really attentive and on point, we weren’t left too long for anything just good service. The food was delicious and really tasty, the vegetables were really outstanding, we had one chicken dish and two ducks and all meat was cooked to perfection. The only thing which would have topped it all off would have been a good cocktail menu. We were sat downstairs and maybe the only moot point would be once the other dinners had left and we were on our own it was a bit too quiet.

My wife and I are frequent visitors here, but hadn’t been for a couple of months. It never fails to impress us, the lovely locally sourced produce and the attention to detail preparing excellent dishes. All the staff clearly enjoy working here too… a true sign that they have a wonderful team! Can wholeheartedly recommend a visit! The duo of beef is exceptional too!

A very enjoyable experience. Food was excellent. All the staff were polite, friendly and very professional. Would recommend dining The Riverside. Thank you.
