   From the moment we arrived it was great. Staff very attentive and atmosphere was great. The food was first class absolutely delicious. It was my birthday a week after visiting and my friends all said cheers happy birthday for next week. The staff bought over a slice of cake with a candle and said happy birthday so they had caught on to what was said a lovely touch. All in all a great time was had and I would highly recommend .

   Once again there’s nothing negative to write. The whole experience was exceptional from the moment we walked in. Our dog was greeted with his own bowl of water, the staff were happy, charming and helpful. The food is unique, imaginative, quality and fresh. The problem is I’m doing myself out future bookings here as it’s so good everyone will want to visit and there’ll be no spaces left!!

   This is a gem of a place. First discovered seven years ago and never bettered. Imaginitive, seasonal food, properly prepared and cooked and served.

   From arrival to departure the service was excellent. We felt welcome and important to them. I have an allergy to dairy and all of the waiting staff were very knowledgeable and able to recommend options to suit my needs. I was also impressed that the chef had thought through how they would adapt all of their courses so there was very little on the menu I couldn’t have. The only slight criticism was the choices were maybe a little limited. Four starters, five mains, four deserts. However, this clearly meant the Cher/s could focus on the quality of the product, and the food was outstanding! It was great that the producers were mentioned on the menu and as much as possible locally sourced. It was our anniversary and we were treated to some lovely petite fours which made us feel special. We had a great night, loved the food and will definitely be back! Well done all.

   Wonderful venue, food and staff ! Open steak sandwich with Truffle fries, finished with an Orange Bread & Butter pudding - delicious 👌🏻

   The food here is always imaginative and delicious. We are warmly welcomed by the staff and enjoy our visits here enormously. The inn itself is quirky and the dining rooms are small (although there is a larger space used for very busy times) and they feel intimate and relaxed. I recommend you book and try this beautiful place.

    Overall, a delightful experience. Food was very well balanced- excellent flavours and good presentation. Service was relaxed but also 'on point'. Generally, the amb5was ideal for our lunchtime celebration.
