   This is my first visit to the rivers edge in Connellsville PA. I was joined by two of my friends. Two of us got pot roast and the other a salmon salad. Both selections were presented lovely and tasted delicious. Portions were very generous especially with the pot roast. We did indulge in desserts. We each got something different so that we could taste them all! The turtle brownies sundae could have been shared with three of us! Limoncello cake and strawberry shortcake were very light and delicious. We sat outside on the covered deck overlooking the river. Such a lovely view. Got to watch two trains go by!

   Atmosphere was great. Food service was slow, food not hot when served but food quality was good.

   The dining experience here is exceptional, probably the best in the Connelsville area. The food was awesome, the atmosphere (especially the outdoor area along the river) and of course the exceptional service provided by Rachel topped off the evening. It was our third trip to the establishment and we will be returning again soon. It was also nice that Ron, the manager, came around and said hello again. A can't miss place to dine at.

   We really enjoyed our brisket sandwiches......now we do not need to drive to Pittsburgh to find a good meal.....fantastic.

   The portions are very generous, with enough to take home for another meal. The pot roast was so tender, it could be cut with a fork. Chicken parm is crispy on the outside yet juicy and tender on the inside. Zucchini is among the best we’ve ever had. The hostess and wait staff were very professional and well groomed. This was our third time there, and we will be back. Kudos to the chef and owners. This is a real gem on the Youghiogheny river in Connellsville.

   It is a very nice restaurant. The meal was good. Was hoping to see some weekend specials on the menu.

   We wanted to try out the new place in town so we went to Rivers Edge. Didn't disappoint. Food was good but a little pricey. Service was great. Atmosphere was a little noisy but OK. Will definitely go back.

   We enjoyed red sangria and a regular margarita. The chicken avocado salad was excellent. The fra Diablo was vert tasty. So much food we took boxes home.

    River's Edge is a hidden gem on the bank of the Youghiogheny River. Food is always amazing and the atmosphere is unlike anything you can find within 30+ miles. Crab cakes were a special for lent and they were all lump crab meat with no filler. Pot roast is a favorite of our family and it is the only place you can order halibut unless you go to Pittsburgh. Overall experience is A+.
