   My friends and I went there for brunch for the first time! The weather was great so we set outside. Our food was delicious and the server Nataly was great! We will definitely return!

   Really nice place and location is ideal for summer. Bartender was our server and she was fantastic. Great service and she was just the right amount of attention. It was quiet but it’s also mid week. This is a place to visit and I would definitely go back

   Love the location and atmosphere! The overall service was excellent and food worth going back for. The River Social Shrimp is a go to along with Surf and Turf. Being our first time, I was very impressed and will definitely go back.

   Awesome hidden gem! Perfect for outdoor dining in summer weather. Parking is available in immediate area and views in general are awesome if you like dinner with a view. Drinks were great, food was great, and service was very quick. Highly recommend!

   Food was ok, service was slow because of a large group seating on two tables , food was nothing special , noise level was way way too loud. Menu is very limited a a bit pricey.

   I’ve enjoyed coming to the River social in the past and have always liked my meal. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and the crab cakes were incredibly small, I remember in the past getting the crab cake still on a piece of English muffin but I could be wrong. But I would have expected the crab cake to be a little bigger to support the egg on top of it. I was also disappointed that the eggs I received were hard boiled instead of poached; I prefer the Benedict because I like the yolk runny so to have the yolk be dry and tough was disappointing. I wasn’t going to make a fuss because I was with my coworkers and did not want to be that person, but it’s a shame the quality of the food wasn’t what I remembered.

    The food was perfect. Best clamcakes. I had Caesar salad with beef skewer. I loved that the serving size was reasonable. Not too much but not skimpy. I was asked how i wanted the beef cooked (medium rare) and it was perfect (assumed it would come well done). The ambiance (noisy) is not my preference. We arrived at 5:45 and i asked to have the lively music turned down a bit (we were only diners at that point). As more people arrived the tiny space was filled and very loud (energetic!) which made it hard to talk. With crowds standing it made it harder to get server’s attention though she was great with everywe asked and promptly brought check etc. also, no paper menus. Must use QRcode on phone which i dont prefer. So only reason not to have 5stars across the board is because of my personal preferences.

    The wine night was so well done! The owner and the host did an excellent job, and I hope they do it again! The wine choices hit the spot - I tried one I’ve never heard of and enjoyed two other wines I normally avoid. The food was outstanding on its own merit, and the pairings were perfection.     I can’t say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere was fantastic for a cold winter night… made us feel like summer was even closer. The drinks and food were phenomenal and the team was so fun. Great company and service! We can’t wait to go back!

    No pause between appetizers and main dish. We were still eating our appetizers while main dish came out. We asked to serve it later, but when they did the lamb was almost cold. Wine was ordered while we still had the appetizer. Thy did not have our first two choices and wine finally arrived when we were half way through the main dish.

    Had a reservation. Table wasn’t ready. Had to wait 10 minutes then sat us at a table right by the door bc the table we were supposed to have was given extended time for their reservation. Service was very slow and the restaurant was not full and well staffed.

    The spot was a little hidden but once we arrived I was pleased by the ambience. Went for a one on one girl's night. There were maybe two other patrons the whole night so it was very quiet and liked that we weren't rushed out when we stated a few hours. Service was wonderful. I had the pink ravioli which was delicious. my friend had a burger that wasn't cooked as she had asked but we didn't complain. Mediterranean egg rolls were a great appetizer. The menu was small and a little pricey. Wish there was more variety but otherwise a great place for cocktails.

    The menu gives basic food options , not much of description for those options either . So I was surprised when my chicken and waffles came out with a spicy sauce on top. Also the server was just to free with her phone for my liking . When we we’re ready to pay the payment method sat in the check book for about 15 minutes because she was in the corner just scrolling on her phone. Then she comes over and collects the payment method/book with the check , with her phone still in her hand. The food was good but cold unfortunately. A little disappointed because I’ve been waiting years to try brunch at this place.

    Awesome location - window seats are great for people (and dog) watching. Hummus was like homemade - creamy and tahini- heavy. Mmmm! Fresh pita. Beet salad was the best I had - dressing was so delicious. Small drink menu so I asked the bartender to make something fruity and refreshing and she nailed it. Met the owner who was a doll. Decor is classy and fun. Music was uplifting and fun, “young” yet noninvasive.

    This was my first time at The River Social and I dislike giving bad reviews but it was not a good experience at all. First, the heat was broken in the restaurant so it was uncomfortably cold the whole time, then the drink I ordered called for blue cheese olives and it came with regular olives because they were out (picky I know, but it's why I ordered the drink, so I wish the waitress would have told me they were out before I ordered), and lastly I was brought the wrong meal when the food came out. Our waitress was fair, she was nice and polite but didn't seem knowledgeable about the menu or the drinks we ordered. I did end up getting the right order finally, it was salmon with potatoes, the salmon was somewhat dry and unappetizing. The highlight however was the truffle fries, they were delicious! Probably won't be going back. ) :

    Service and food were very good although a little pricey. Nevertheless, we definitely look forward to going back again. Location was also very nice and probably outstanding during water fire. It is a limited menu which is not necessarily a bad thing. The table shared truffle fries with feta. Definitely worth trying as these may have been the best fries I've had in a while. We also had Tuna Poke, seared tuna, autumn vegetable ravioli and espresso rubbed flank steak. All excellent. Staff were wonderful, very attentive without hovering over you.

    Great location but totally overpriced. The food was average and very small plate. I had the tuna and couscous… for $34!! 4 small slices over a small scoop of couscous…small menu not a lot to chose from. Maybe for a drink and apps… will never go back for a Saturday night dinner.

    Very disappointed on the size and choices of main choices . However the food was excellent just wish the main plates were worth the money . The Salads and starters and sides were full size . Truffle feta fries were excellent

    My date and I both enjoyed our entrees very much although they were fairly pricey. Was a good Saturday night choice but I wouldn't spend 27 - 40$ per entree on a weeknight. The setting next to the river was nice and the service was good. It's fairly small and intimate with a nice ambiance for either tables or the bar. I will go there again.

    Beautiful spot to sit and relax with excellent service. Food tasted great however was lukewarm when I got it instead of hot, otherwise would have rated higher. I would still go back though and am sure if I had said something they would have redone my meal, I just didn't want to wait for that being that I was with others and it was still good to eat.

    Overall we had a great experience. We went for brunch and choose to eat outside. AMAZING IDEA. The outside area is right on the water and had amazing views - note this would not be suitable for cold or bad weather as there were not coverings. The food was also delicious. Our table had an areas of Benedict’s, omelets, and pancakes. Every plate was completely empty by the end of our meal. Our waitress was fantastic as well. Our only complaint was the hot coffee was extremely watered down and that the Salted Caramel Coffee (alcoholic) drinks simply tasted like liquor and cream.

    We were there this past weekend. The food was good but not hot. The server was great! She was very attentive, and complete with little things that make the meal enjoyable. Topping off coffee, refilling drinks, checking back...she was great! The food was slow and cold coming out of the kitchen and it arrived separately, so, I'd say the kitchen may need a better communication system to make the server aware that the food is up.
