The River Run Lodge offers a champagne level location for casual fine dining, private events and unique experiences like Riverside picnics along the famous Restigouche River in Northern New Brunswick and only minutes from Matapedia, QC. The Lodge is over a century old and the beauty indoor and outdoors is breathtaking. Cozy up inside surrounded by history you can see and feel or outside on the heated, screened in patio, or take a walk on the lawn with your glass of wine and sit by the campfire under the stars while listening to the River Run.

All reservations are booked in Atlantic Standard Time (NB Time). L'heure du Nouveau-Brunswick.

3rd time there. Have been once every season since open. Must be a different chef this year. Zero garnish on both starters and entrees. Just no wow factor this year. Unused wine glasses were left on the table throughout our stay - not typical for fine dining. Despite these little things, the food and service were excellent. Pricey, which is why we can only afford to go once a season. Will definitely return next year.

Hello Jovette, We are so sorry for your less than ideal experience, which we always aim for! Our chef, was in fact, off sick that night; and we had a server who helps out in the fall when our students return to university, so it happens that these little details were forgotten :( We sincerely apologize and look forward to perfecting this experience for you next year.

Excellent food, all wait staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Food is well prepared and above average quality that you would find at other local restaurants. It is dining at its finest! Matt and his team make magic happen! :) you will not regret eating here - grab your friends and family and have a great night out! The owners are pleasant and have a beautiful place and you can tell they take pride in their establishment. If you have room for dessert I recommend the maple filled puffs - they are so creamy and delicious! ;)

Going there isn't just about the food. The atmosphere, the service and the connection with staff is amazing. It's not just dinner with loved ones, it's an experience. Always plan to be there for more than an hour. I assure you, it's worth your time.

We were told this was "good food". It is fine dining with a charming historical atmosphere. Greated by both owners, the "restaurant" has a relaxed atmosphere making you feel like you're visiting friends. We were definitely surprised by quality of our meals. This gourmet food was exquisite. We were with friends an our planing our trip next year in the area just so that we are able to eat here again.

Les moules sauce aux proireau sont excellentes, probablement les meilleures moules depuis longtemps . Excellent service 👍

This restaurant is a must-try for anyone looking to enjoy amazing food in a beautiful place. The building, grounds, and views are picturesque. The staff are wonderful and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend eating here if you are looking for a place to enjoy a special dinner or celebrate an occasion.
