It was a great experience as always. The fish tacos actually had fillet of fish in it not like some other places. The key lime pie was outstanding. The service fantastic!

The menu needs more variety. The gyro was next to impossible to pick up and eat without ingredients falling out. Salad was nearly all greens with 1 slice of apple, 1 slice of radish, a few slivers of carrot, and very little dressing. The crème brûlée was too charred tasting burnt.

Always enjoy our meal here. Menu is varied ..... something for everyone ...... from light meal to full entrees. Convenient location near the airport, great place to get a real meal before departing or after arriving. Much better than anything you can get at the airport. Likewise, great place before a show at the Asolo.

My main complaint about the Grillroom is that they don't serve bread. They finally made a decision to serve bread after so many people complained, but it's a dish of pita bread pieces and it's $5.00! Big deal...not worth it!!! The ONLY reason we go there is because we have a show at Asolo. If they served descent bread first we might go there if there was no show. Also you can't get them on the phone...very frustrating. I had a horrible experience with them on NewYear's eve and I've never forgotten their actions.

Dined at Ringling Grillroom prior to seeing a show at the Asolo Theater. Casual, with a clean and contemporary "art museum" ambience. Outdoor dining is available for cooler evenings. Food and service were surprising good. Scallops and shrimp were excellent as was calamari. Salads were fresh and generously portioned, fish tacos were light and flavorful... even the fries were good! Our server was friendly and professional and offered good recommendations. Everything was terrific! Would love even more if they added cappucino to the menu! Will definitely return.

A lovely setting at the Ringling Museum; sitting outdoors listening to the water fountain while watching the turtles, fish & birds in the pond. The service & food were excellent. Just one exception: the server walked up to my table where my neighbor & I were sitting. She says "hi sweethearts". I ignored it as we placed a drink order. The server came back later for lunch order; nice timing. When the server checks on us during lunch, she says "darling is everything ok?" I had had it! I said Excuse me, we are your customers - not your sweetheart or darling. The server said " yes Ma'am". I have gotten used to being called ' Honey' by wait staff. I still left a descent tip.

Traffic congestion on way to restaurant, was unable to reach anyone to notify we would be a few minutes late, calls went to voicemail. When we arrived, under 15 minutes late, we were told servers thought we weren’t going to keep reservation.

My wife and I had a nice relaxing brunch on Mother’s Day. We were happily surprised to see the restaurant wasn’t crowded or noisy. The food was excellent as usual. It’s very convenient for dinner before a show at the Asolo Theatre.

We had crab cakes and others at the table had hamburgers, calamari, and salads. All were excellent! It was my Mom’s 93rd birthday and all servers came by, including the manager, to wish her a happy birthday! Very nice

My husband and I sat outside for a mid afternoon meal to celebrate our anniversary. Sitting by the pond was delightful.... we watched a hawk dive for a fish and enjoyed all the other birds that flew by. So peaceful. The food is always delicious... we ordered the chicken milanese and the chargrilled salmon... plated lovely and served efficiently. Our server chose a delicious bread pudding for our dessert. Afterwards we walked through the gardens and by the bay. Perfect afternoon!

Great food, great service, lots of options The calamari is as good as I have had, crispy and tender, and the flatbread was excellent. Plenty of choices. Very open light spacious atmosphere. We go to lunch whenever we go to the RIngling and for dinner whenever we go to the Asolo.

As always, our experience at the Grillroom was great. I tried the Ahi Tuna Poke and was delighted--fresh, beautifully presented and plentiful. My husband had his favorite--the GR Burger and, as always was delighted. Our waiter was attentive, efficient and friendly.
