The Ridgeway Bar and Kitchen at Newport is a British pub, an intimate venue set in lovely suburb of Ridgeway and Allt-yr-rn of Newport. Located just a few miles from Wales"s capital city of Cardiff, it has excellent road links being just two minutes from the M4 offers the perfect retreat from the stresses of modern life.

It was sensitively refurbished in 2013 and has been injected with a distinctive New England come 'coastal style', with features including newly laid beautiful tiled floors and clever contemporary touches which now lend this building a luxurious yet comfortable atmosphere, which can’t fail to charm.

Whether you’re on a flying visit, or enjoying a special occasion over dinner, we want you to have the most enjoyable stay. Here at The Ridgeway, we do not stand on ceremony and whether you are sporting battered walking boots or a ballgown, you are welcome to enjoy any part of our menu.

Overall nice food & quick service, only downside was everyone who had chips didn’t seem to like them, but would definitely recommend

Food was really nice. Very generous portions. Pate and chutney , very tasty. The steak was cooked perfectly. The blue cheese sauce could of done with a little more blue cheese but overall the meal was lovely and would definitely visit again.

Amazing quality of food at an amazing price. Only feedback would be to be mindful of bringing out children’s meals on a boiling hot plate. Would highly recommend to friends and family and will definitely be returning.
