When we were escorted to our Igloo we notice the table was a coffee table. How do you expect (2) children and (2) adults to eat at a coffee table. Hot Chocolate was cold due to being the afternoon hot chocolate per the waiter. Food was cold. I understand the temperature is winter. But my food should be hot. Like a hot summer day. When finished we walked to the fire pit. Which was lovely. But on our journey and pasting other igloos. I notice they had tables not coffee table. I’m sorry but every igloo should have tables so you can eat your dinner.

It was a nice experience just a little steep on rental price. I won’t do it again for $100 but everything else was nice about it. The waitress took good care of us The peppermint coffees were gross. Basically watered down something. We didn’t complain but would encourage you to have someone taste them to make sure ingredients are accurate.

Seemed to be quite understaffed when we arrived there was a wait for our reservation time. Waitress was very nice but had to rely on the other staff for water and drinks (they did not bring so waitress had to get it). Apps came out at the same time as our dinner. Dinners (pastas) were cold but apps were hot. Drinks took 45 min to get. Ceaser salad was way under dressed and subpar, waitress removed from bill. Took over two hours for dinner. Very cute inside but a little chilly so be sure to bring handwarmers and bundle up. Very cute but wouldn’t do it again.

Whole perimeter of Igloo has a gap. With 15° air blowing underneath. We were freezing! Waitress was super nice! Food was Meh... Seal a meal Prime rib with brown gravy poured on. Au jus goes with prime rib. Yes 100 bucks to literally freeze! My spaghetti and meatballs were microwaved. Outside of the dish was piping hot middle was lukewarm. 25 bucks. Wasn't worth it but we can say we tried. The restaurant has a menu that is different.

We had a reservation at 4:30 on a Saturday. The time limit for the igloo is 1 1/2 hours so you really want to make the most of your time. We were escorted to our igloo at 4:25 and were given menus. By 4:55, we never saw a server, no one ever came back to take our order or even acknowledge us. Beyond frustrating since there is a $100 charge just for the igloo itself! We were 1/3 of the way through our allotted time and NO ONE came back after we were seated! So we left. We walked right passed the hostess that had seated us 30 minutes earlier and she didn’t say a word! No one cared. Glad we didn’t pay that $100 up front. Never again!

We went after the ice castles with our kids for dinner. It was absolutely freezing, our food got cold quickly and we finally moved inside. We went last year and they were much warmer, the igloo cover didn’t go to the bottom this year which could be why it was colder. Service was great, food was ok, next year we won’t be booking because they are expensive to reserve and are non refundable. Not the restaurants fault, should probably have a policy if below a certain temperature the igloos will be closed.

Great idea, but it was WAY TOO COLD! They put in a small space heater and set it to high flow @ 85 degrees, but they're too small to keep up with the cold inside the igloo. They need to have larger or more space heaters in each one. Thank God only my wife and I were in there as had we had others, they would have frozen solid if the heater wasn't near them. Literally, each of us had numb fingers on the opposite hand further away from the space heater. Other than that, the service, food, and ambiance were awesome! Dress warm, expect to wear a jacket and gloves inside the igloo.

My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed ourself. They had the igloo decorated beautifully. Not over the top and not under decorated. We walked inside and it was warm with a portable heater and just magical feeling. I brought a mini speaker to listen to jazz while we had drinks and dinner. I give my first time experience an absolute 10 starts.

The staff is amazing!! The igloos are cold. I guess I wasn't expecting to have to leave my coat and gloves on. I did anticipate the food not to be served hot and it wasn't. We were disappointed by the limited menu. Great experience to try, won't be doing it again.

The Igloo Experience at the Ridge in Lake Geneva was a fun and special dining experience. The check in and seating process was efficient and inviting. Once seated the staff was attentive and accommodating to all of our needs. We attended on an extremely cold night and blankets helped in keeping up with the small space heater provided. The food was nothing special. The appetizer portions were exceptionally small for the $18 price mark. Also, the wood oven pizzas were overpriced. I would understand the price points if that was covering the ambience and igloo experience. But that is not the case. You also have a large rental fee for your 90 minute experience. Since we were there for a special occasion we just took it in the wallet and enjoyed the experience. Be aware that gratuity is added in for a party of 8. It’s worth doing, but you will leave thinking “why didn’t I just dine lakeside in a warm room for 1/3 the cost”.

It's very likely I didn't read my reservation carefully enough, but I was shocked when the bill arrived to see a $100 rental fee. The food was expensive and nothing special. The igloo was uncomfortably cold, and we ended up leaving early. I spent nearly $290 for a dinner for two in a freezing dome with okay food. I would avoid unless you're independently wealthy and are completely ambivalent about food taste.

Super fun unique dining experience! It was great to find an igloo that seated 8 for our company dinner. It was about 15-20 Degrees Fahrenheit outside and with a heater, the igloos maintained a comfortable temp in the low 60s. Bring a blanket for an extra cozy feeling. Limited menu- good appetizers, salad, pasta, and pizza with options for gluten free. Our server Katy was phenomenal. She did an excellent job at keeping the drinks flowing and serving our food with perfect timing- she was so fun to chat with and made the entire experience that much more enjoyable. After our igloo meal was finished, we headed up to the bar where there was great live music along with a cool bartender happy to serve us. We would definitely do this again!

The poor waiter had every igloo outside with no help & had to make his own drinks. We got the wrong drinks at first, then the wrong appetizer, then he came back with the right drinks & dropped them, we waited 65 minutes just for our first drinks which were then served hot when they were meant to be cold. The menu specified “cold cider”. We never got the right drinks, never got water, plates, silverware or napkins the entire time. The heater wasn’t turned on until we got there so it was 34 degrees in the igloo. They asked us 4 times if we wanted a speaker before they brought one to us after 1.5 hours. All in all horrible but they at least acknowledged it and comped the bill for us. It was not our poor waiters fault, he was running around doing the best he could with a bad situation. They were understaffed and overbooked for the amount of staff onsite. For a nice place like this, they should not be sacrificing service to get more tables. They need to book less reservations and focus on providing good service to less customers until they get their staffing situation figured out.

Beautiful setting and pretty all lit up, but the round tables are not as intimate as the patio style seating if you just want a cocktail and appetizer. It is set up nicely on the table, but we did not want to eat dinner, just drinks. Maybe some of each for those not having dinner.

The base of the igloo was not attached properly so very cold air was blowing in the entire time. We asked if they could provide an additional heater and they just said “no,” even though there were other igloos nearby that had no guests the entire time we were there. The menu was extremely limited and extremely overpriced. We had a garlic roll appetizer, a shrimp linguine entree, spaghetti with meatballs, an individual pepperoni pizza and a Caesar salad, plus 2 kiddie cocktails, one N/A beer and one Moscow mule. The total bill including $100(!) for the igloo rental and gratuity (which they included) came to $289!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable.

The waiter was outstanding. He was friendly, kind and patient. We appreciate his services. The food was not the best. We understand due to COVID pandemic, it is very hard on business and staff. We understood the silverware were plastic due to sanitation safety but to pay $35 plate and try to cut the food with plastic knife isn’t recommended. The salad was very good though. The igloo was beautiful and the environment was nice. We did had a great time.

Hi. Once we arrived at the Ridge hotel there wasn't an employee to be seen. We were told there was only one server for all of the igloos (and was playing hostess) so needles to say service was not up to par. Food was served cold and drinks were watered down by the time they were dropped at our table. Disappointing as this was a important date for my husband and I, let alone the holiday season. I would like some type of refund as we did pay 100.00 just to book the igloo and another 140.00 for dinner. I would appreciate a response back or a phone call. What an amazing experience ~ the dome was the perfect temperature, I wore a sweater and was comfortable. The Christmas music on the patio added to the atmosphere. Our waiter Frank was above and beyond and very detailed orientated. The food was delicious, although it is a limited menu, it had nice range of options to hit our taste buds. Keep in mind you do need the entire 90 minutes to enjoy the true ambiance and delicious food (we did enjoy an app, meal and dessert), so order right away. Also it's tough to find a dining in a dome experience that doesn't have an alcohol minimum. We don't drink but wanted to enjoy the experience that has become so popular in Wisconsin. SO a huge thank you ~ for offering something for everyone.

My husband & I are on our first “getaway” in over two years: any time off has always been spent on or with family, so we are excited to do a long weekend in Lake Geneva. Our first reservation and dining experience was here at the Al Fesco—we were immediately sold on the sunset view and Saturday night pig roast pre-fixe meal option, with live music to top it all off! We weren’t disappointed! The food was fresh and delicious, the ambiance cozy and beautiful, and the music was exceptional. It was the venue’s 3rd night open, so if I had any recommendation to management, it would be a better trained waitstaff: our waitress was a lovely, warm personality, but we were often left waiting for service. All in all, terrific experience!

This was a unique place to gather during a pandemic. The igloos are perfectly nice, and the heater is more than adequate. The surcharge to use the igloos seemed awfully high -- way more than the food. But it was the experience one was after, and that we got. Food was minimal -- just pizza and appetizers and was nothing special.
