Very cute little place. Service and cheese board was good.
The Riddler was an all-around exceptional experience. Unparalleled hospitality and service, fantastic wine list, delicious plates and bites, and an adorable atmosphere. We're already looking forward to our next visit.
The Riddler was great! Fun Champagne Bar with over 100 champagne choices! The food menu was interesting. Love they tater tot waffles (they could have been crisper), and the chips and caviar were amazing (but the chips were stale and they brought us a new fresh batch)! Interesting after work place, great service, fun’
Our hosts at The Riddler were so fun and accommodating! They were very patient with our large group (10 people, but the space isn't too large, so we took up a good portion of their attention/space) and made our celebration very enjoyable. The food was delicious, the champagne was good, and they were great about coming to check on us. The space is clean, bright, and very photogenic. I will be sure to return! Thank you!
Quite expensive champagne list, but very nice service. Fun decorations and the popcorn was cool although a little stale.
Naomi was outstanding!
We got a fun history story for each bottle of champagne!
The Riddler is an absolute gem! From the menus and decor to the service and food, you can see the thought put in to every detail of this wonderful bar/restaurant. We'll continue to visit again and again.
Super cute! Amazing collection of sparking wines, even by the glass and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a favorite for a girls night!
Amazing! Service was incredible and loved the cheese platter and popcorn!
Cone on! This place is fantastic! Get your butt in a seat and have some bubbles for goodness sake!
I love the ambiance and the selection of champagne. A tad expensive to make a weekly habit. But great place for celebration.
Best place ever
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Riddler, but I did find it very expensive if you want a bite to eat. However, the ambiance, special touches are thoughtful and fun.
Had a party of 8 to open a big magnum for a birthday. So fun!!!
The wait staff were all very professional and knowledgable. The food menu was a little to small.
The prices were outrageous...no where to go for a reasonably priced glass of wine. Also, it's a big guess as to what you're ordering most wines were unknown to me....Had a lovely time, but won't go back.
Expensive. Very very expensive (even for SF standards) but cute and charming and girly.
Thought we’d come here with friends for brunch - turns out there’s not really a good selection of food / brunch options. If you’re looking for drinks and nibbles (small nibbles) this is the place to go. Otherwise don’t come here hungry! Great atmosphere though
It was my 30th birthday celebration, so I wish they did something a little special. Either way, we had a lovely time. I like the reserved signs that say "Reserved for Michelle Obama or Beyonce." The free popcorn and the customizable salts are a nice touch. The wines are lovely and the service is very attentive. I do wish the water glasses and popcorn bowls were a little larger. If you did metal bowls for popcorn, they'd be lighter and easier to manage instead of the clunky ones currently used. We also had a cheese plate which was very good and they offered additional bread to go with the cheese we still had left. Excellent service.
its a great girls night spot! The prices are on the higher end so it's not an every day activity but it's a lovely gem of a spot for an occasional get together! also, unlimited popcorn with awesome seasonings are definitely a plus
Restaurant was closed when we arrived in pouring rain
The Riddler is very cute. I suggest making a reservation as there is very limited seating.
We were at The Riddler for an early Saturday afternoon brunch prior to a concert at SF Jazz. We were promptly greeted and seated at a nice window table by the hostess.
The Riddler has a large sparkling wine and champagne menu. But I think that their prices are a little too high.
The food menu is very limited. “Brunchish” is $24 for a savory or sweet yogurt, then a quiche and a pastry roll. I would not object to the price if the food was good, but it was not. Cold bland coffee is $5 a cup.
Service was very nice when we first arrived and put in our orders. But then the server had to be flagged down for coffee and water refills.
Go for a glass of sparkling wine or champagne. Skip the food except for the free popcorn.
