   The rickety press looks very clean and inviting and perfect for a nice pint in Jerico. The food menu is a bit simple but all the dishes we tried were excellent but they do not have anything different on a sunday ( they are missing a trick). The service was very relaxed but attentive and all the staff very friendly. The pricing is excellent , a great find.

   A nice, calm, relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Broad Street & High Street in Oxford. Very nice food and drinks and nice waiting staff. I would certainly make a repeat visit.

   The menu was very interesting and the food (one meal sized salad, one curry) was very good. There was an issue about the starter: soft-boiled quails' eggs. These were served in the shell and were very hard to shell without spilling yolk everywhere. We had to ask for a finger bowl. Service started well and then just got worse, for no obvious reason. By the end we could not get our waitress to pay any attention to us even when she was at the next table. We actually called to her once as she went past..she kept going past..finally another waitress helped us. Overall, OK.

   Excellent pub. Our group of seven really enjoyed it and had a great night. We were well looked after.

   This was our second visit to the Rickety the first being some time ago for Sunday lunch. Cannot fault the service or the food.The menu is a little restricted but just about offers something for everyone's taste.My wife and I both ordered the Flatiron Steaks which were cooked to perfection. Overall we could not fault either the food or the service.

   We liked the restaurant and would eat there again. Service was good and friendly and interior was lovely, set in a new extension. Cost was reasonable. Only downside was a slightly limited menu for main meals and deserts.

   Went there since its refurbishment with husband and kiddie on Father's Day. We ordered lots of small plates rather than the traditional Sunday lunch. Great spread of food- the boston beans with pulled pork was stand out as was the squid. Sunday tapas is the new Sunday roast. No bloating, no guilt. Bring it on.

   Excellent place to do lunch. The décor and seating are really good. The menu did't have an enormous choice more than enough for everyone. Choice can be a pain sometimes.! The service was excellent and not hurried. Really a good place to go.

   I have dined here before but I took my dear friend here for a treat. She was so impressed with the whole experience. She loved the ambience, menu choices and service. Thank you for not letting me down!

    The staff at The Rickety Press embrace the service-with-a-smile mantra: friendly, attentive, and good-humoured. I caught up with an old friend for dinner and we had a great time. The food was of good quality and reasonably priced. A lovely pub dinner all told.
