The Ribbon, a Blue Ribbon Restaurant, is located in the old New York Times building in the heart of the theater district (opposite the Schubert). The Ribbon menu is signature Bromberg Brothers, with something for everyone including The Ribbon Steak, Fried Chicken, Buffalo Style Cauliflower, Steak Tartare, burgers, sandwiches, salads and a raw bar with highlights such as Salmon Ceviche, East and West Coast Oysters and Kaluga Caviar. There's also a great selection for theater-bound kids.

The extensive bar program features over 98 whiskeys, a 117-bottle wine list and craft cocktails. Happy hour at The Ribbon is daily from 8pm until midnight. The décor pays homage to old New York, with black and white photos, vintage ornaments and books throughout. A live DJ and weekend party brunch add the perfect vibes to this Midtown spot. After dinner you can extend your night downstairs in Blue Midtown, Blue Ribbon's first venture into nightlife.

Despite the classy looking offerings on the menu, the food was mediocre and the service was laughable.

Everyone was so nice there. From the guy at the front desk to the waitress and the hostess. It made it a very enjoyable. And the shrimp scampi arugula salad is my favorite.

Overall a really nice experience. The food was delicious, we ordered the bacon burger, Quinoa salad and side of asparagus. Too full for dessert but will save room next time. Our server was lovely and attentive. prices are high but to be expected for midtown/theater district.

Service was awful. Our glasses were dirty
Sent under cooked chicken back and cane beck rubbery. No one came over to ask why our food was not eaten. They couldn’t even find pepper to put on the salad.
I have been to the other locations and have always had exceptional service and delicious food. This was awful. I won’t be back and do not recommend it!

Good service. Very good food. Little noisy and somewhat difficult to move around the tables when we got up to go to the bathroom. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Nice addition to the theatre district. Creative menu with good mix and match options. Service at the front was clueless but hopefully that will improve when they settle in. Two seater booth was uncomfortably small — definitely insist on adult sized seating.

We had amazing beautiful specialty drinks and I had the lobster- shrimp curry that was so light and luscious. My friend has the prime rib which was also excellent. The dessert was drop over great - the chocolate chip bread pudding was to die for. The ambience is lovely - it feels like a new
Twist on old
New York. It is ambient without being so dark you can’t read the menu.

We arrived for a lunch prior to a matinee show. We were seated promptly and hostess moved our seating to a booth at our request. We were given a menu which seemed to be for brunch and not full menu shown on website. I chose a breakfast sandwich which was described on menu with spinach, mushrooms, onions and bacon .. I requested no onions or mushrooms but waitress said it is already made in a patty . When served, it was in an English muffin not a biscuit and was a compute of chopped mushrooms onions and spinach and very little bacon. I did not enjoy this meal fir I think $17. My guest ordered eggs Benedict which was supposed to be searched with prosciutto. It was instead served with a thick slice of ham. When we asked about it our server insisted it was prosciutto. Again thus was also overpriced. We did order dessert - key lime pie and tofu pudding which was not pudding but cake drizzled with caramel sauce abs raisins. Desserts were tasty and more reasonably priced. Service and atmosphere were good but Neal overall was not worth the price. Will not return to this establishment .

Uses a pulsd offer, and felt like we were nickel and dimed on it. They had a limited selection of entrees despite no mention of a set menu in the pulsed offer, and weren’t open to substituting even for less expensive items. On the plus side, the service was good and they allowed us to use it earlier than the 8:00 PM time (we hadn’t seen that restriction when we bought the pulsd voucher. Also felt it was overpriced. But the food was very good.

Somehow, even though the noise level is very high, it is possible to carry on a conversation. The service is great and so is the food. We'll be back.

We had a great early dinner on Superbowl Sunday/NYC restaurant week. The choices were excellent and they did not skimp on portions. The deviled egg appetizer was excellent! Our shellfish and steak entrees were also very good as were the desserts. The staff was efficient and the manager came to see us and chat. All in all a very enjoyable time. We will certainly return.

The food was disgusting. I went for brunch on Sunday and was terribly disappointed. My 13 yr old makes better pancakes. I would never go back there again.
