The best food in Beaufort! My second visit there and once again I’m floored with the quality, execution, presentation and flavors. The staff knows the menu to the tiniest tidbits. The setting it right out of an old southern novel. We were able to dine on the porch with a Carolina moon over the water. It was a perfect night.

Strange experience. My wife and I live in the area and we're really excited after reviewing the menu online. She wanted the tenderloin and I was going to try the scallops. When we arrived, we got a special menu of the day, which was completely different. Unfortunately, we could not find a single entree that appealed to us (and at $60-$75 per dish) we weren't willing to settle. Walked down Bay St and found an alternative place. Disappointing, maybe another time. Call ahead and find out what's available upfront before investing.

The food here is always delicious and the menu changes daily according to what the chef gets in. Last night we had the crabcakes and they were phenomenal! We have never had a bad meal here… We love sitting out on the porch and we had a beautiful view of the sunset. Service was excellent! Overall a fantastic evening!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Ribaut Social Club. The food, the service and the wine were superb. The menu was inventive and everything is locally sourced which was evident in the bold fresh taste of each item. We will make it a point to return any time we are in Beaufort.

Without question one of the best meals/experience my wife and I have had in a LONG time. Sarah was our server and she was outstanding. Very attentive and personal. Chef Dan is truly a chef.... This is not your normal restaurant and you know that from the minute you see the menu and hear about where all of the product comes from. My wife and I travel all over the United States as foodies, and this one easily one of the best places we have been to date. Well worth it and I would give 11 out of 10 if it was allowed.

This is our favorite low country restaurant. Elegant in a beautiful location and space. The chef is creative and skilled. Every dish is amazingly with fresh ingredients and outstanding preparation. Really extraordinary! The service is 5 star - Isabella is so attentive and knowledgeable - she truly makes the experience memorable. This is why we return over and over and try to introduce our guests to the best restaurant in the area. Thanks to all .

Our experience was wonderful, it was very quiet some music would of made our experience a bit better. Also the beetroot salad was very salty, it was very good but for some reason the goat cheese was really salty. Other than that our entrée was delicious and the wine selection excellent. Thank you

We went for my birthday and had a great dinner. I had scallops and he had striped bass. Both served over a shellfish risotto with local veggies. We eat early -6p resv. We were first in and only 10 other diners before we finished. If you are looking for small, upscale and outstanding food, I would highly recommend.

We ate at several restaurants in Beaufort and this was by far the best meal we had. The ambiance was lovely (we sat on the front porch), the food was amazing and our server, Sarah, was very attentive and helpful. We would highly recommend!

We celebrated our 55th Anniversary at Ribaut Social Club. Asked to dine on the front porch if the weather was nice ~ and it was! We arrived a bit before our 6:00 reservation and enjoyed a bit of time in the front room with our cocktails. We were one of four other couples on the porch this particular evening, and we were nicely spaced apart. We both ordered the red pepper soup, it was so flavorful. Terry ordered the double rib pork chop dinner and I ordered the spare rib dinner. Both were exceptional, and so plentiful!!! We had enough to bring home for our dinner the next night. We shared a bottle of French Burgundy with our dinners and it was among the best I’ve had. We ordered my favorite dense chocolate cake to bring home for later, and it did not disappoint! All in all, a perfect anniversary dinner!

The food was excellent salad, entrees and dessert. The menu was somewhat limited as one might expect in a small high quality restaurant. The setting is low key beautiful with plenty of space between tables and a very low level Of noise conducive to relaxing, intimate conversations. It's a bit pricey but ambiance, food quality and portion size justified the price if you are seeking a relaxing high quality meal with surroundings enabling intimate conversation. The usually very good service was "off" last night. There was a 20 minute gap between dinner and ability to order desert and the wine service was subpar/not attentive. We understand the restaurant's somm was out and wait staff might have been missing a key player or two last night. Not the level of service you would expect considering the other fine attributes of the restaurant. We'll chalk it up as just an "off night" service-wise for maybe a variety of circumstances.

We spent 5 nights in the low country, focused on nice meals every evening. The Ribaut Social Club was the best meal we had by far. The food was exceptional, which was matched by the staff and their service level. The Chef came to meet us, and was very engaging. New and fresh menu developed daily. This was a true treat. I would absolutely dine there any time I am near the area.

We had the option of dining inside or out on the front porch, we chose to be outside on such a nice evening. Everything we ordered from the BLT salad, the filet and surf and turf were all excellent. The service was great, we will be back on our next trip to SC.

Great experience dining here for the first time for husband's birthday. My husband ordered the sole -lightly sauteed and crispy. We shared a huge crab cake appetizer and it was wonderful. I ordered the filet -cooked to perfection! Generous portions - had a small to go box. Spectacular view and weather was perfect. We will return with friends!

An absolutely lovely place to eat and very nice people. My wife ordered the sole and it was excellent. Great food and great presentation. I ordered the dry aged, bone in prime ribeye at $65. Server asked “ medium rare “? and I responded “ no more than medium rare”. It was described as glazed. The food arrived, presented perfectly. I cut into my steak and it was well done toward the outside and medium ( at best) toward the bone. I showed it to the server and she offered to replace the steak. Returning something to the kitchen is out of character for me but this steak was seriously not what I ordered so I did so. Next plate came out and I cut into the steak. Same thing- well done to medium. The glaze was a heavy sauce and very salty. Really inappropriate for a dry aged prime steak. Server saw the doneness and suggested I cut further into it , then made herself scarce quickly. Bottom line is that I ate the steak so I paid for it. Very disappointing for a top end small restaurant. I would have expected the chef to at least check on a return but that never happened. We are residents of Beaufort, not visitors, and live within walking distance. Really a shame that we won’t visit RSC again.

Food and service were, as always, very good. Quiet when we arrived but a very loud party came later making it more difficult to have a conversation at our table. Not RSC fault, just the dining room is small. All in all a good evening.

We had our wedding anniversary dinner last night at this restaurant and I can’t stop praising on how amazing our steaks were! It was one of the best steak we ate in a while and the gravy and fresh veggies that came with our steaks were fresh and cooked to perfection! Misty, our server, brought us our complimentary sparkling wine that tasted delicious and our fried oysters appetizers were so good. The ambience at the restaurant was so nice with soft music that serenade our dinner. Misty told us that we can go upstairs to their hotel rooftop to enjoy our sunset with our beverages while she keeping our food and table situated for us. What an amazing service and the busboy always make sure to come and refill our water. We loved and enjoyed our dinner!

We went to the rooftop and had a cocktail while overlooking the marina. Back downstairs for dinner on the porch. The food was amazing. Fresh ingredients prepared to order. We ended the experience with a yummy chocolate torte. It was a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.
