We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, like expected guests, and shown straight to our table. The service was charming and informative, without in any way being intrusive, and the food delicious, beautifully presented and with delicate flavours. Best asparagus I have tasted for years. The ambience in the ancient pub is very special. We will definitely return and are recommending it actively to friends and family.

Lovely old coaching inn setting. Very hospitable staff team. Menu is suitably realistic and delivers. Very well presented with excellent flavours. Beers, & ciders of course are local and very good too. Altogether a very enjoyable meal, company and experience.

We have eaten at the Rhydspence on quite a few occasions in the last year. Each and every time the menu has been different, the service impeccable and the food is absolutely delicious.

Definitely a good choice for a cosy meal. Quite a small selection on the menu but I really enjoyed my cauliflower steak. Lovely friendly service. Thanks.

Gastropub fine dining, limited menu but everything we chose was great, plus excellent wine list. Quiet early evening, menu not child friendly, but overall we we very happy

First time at the Rhydspence and we were not disappointed. Lovely warm welcome, great beer & cider and the food was gorgeous 👌 excellent service! We loved it so much we are going back tomorrow🫶
