Entertainment Disclosure: Please note that you are reserving a dinner table and will experience entertainment via a live band and a DJ while you dine for 2 hours. After two hours there may be another reservation for your table and we may have to take your table. There is an entertainment fee per person added to all bills (Friday - $10, Saturday - $15). At times the music may be loud. Expect longer cooking times during entertainment. Each table seats four people and the highboy seats two people. No tables can be held for guests who have not arrived. Please call to upgrade your reservation to VIP Front row seating for $25 per person. All guests must patronize the restaurant. To sit at the bar there is a two drink minimum. All guests at the tables must purchase at least an entree. Only one reservation per person.

The food was excellent as always. However, the wait time for drinks was an hour & increased wait time for the food. The manager was able to come over and apologize about the increased wait time that we experienced. The staff is very courteous and customer friendly. The DJ was jammin'. The female chef came over so we were able to compliment her cooking. I think the kitchen needs to be staffed appropriately to get the orders out in a more timely manner. Everything was nice & hot and very flavorful.

The food, service, and prices just don’t align. We ordered the lamb chop lollipops as an appetizer. We received, 2 of them, and they were soooo small for $26! Then, we ordered the shrimp and grits. The grits were stiff, but creamy, and I couldn’t taste the Cajun sauce they said came on it. It also lacked flavor. The catfish STRIPS were ok. The food took an hour to come out, and it wasn’t even crowded. We didn’t order alcohol because I saw a special that said one drink was $24. No thank you. I’m very skeptical on purchasing drinks at restaurants when I don’t know their pour. I’d rather go to a bar. Our bill was about $112. Neither of us left full, because we couldn’t eat those prison grits: it was very disappointing. They have downtown prices, but the food and service are not downtown! I don’t see them staying open too much longer. It’s Lansing! Make a name for yourself first, offer good food & service at decent prices, then you’ll get business. 20% mandatory gratuity… entertainment fees… tons of restrictions are a turnoff. My people must do better!

I’ll go back, I had chicken & waffle and the chicken definitely needed seasoning. The waffles was good. The drinks where a little high but again we’re paying for location and the atmosphere

Food service was extremely slow, and the food arrived barely warm. We were seated at 1 pm and our food did not arrive until 3 pm. The drinks and the music were very good but that could not save the day. When we complained, we were told the kitchen was backed up, but for 2 hours. My family was very disappointed.

The service was poor since 20percent gratuity is automatically placed on bill. The waitress took 35 minutes to bring my salad and another 10 minutes to bring the dressing. It should not take that long for a salad and why bring dressing and salad out separately. After waiting 15 minutes I had to go to bar to ask for bill since she hadn't brought it out. I don't know if that's the norm for waitress to bartend and wait on tables too but I won't be back. she definitely wouldn't have gotten a 20 percent tip

So many small issues turn into a BIG issues, no sauce for food, waited a LONg time for my check…. The waitress decided to hold a conversation with co workers after I paid…. The last meal to come to my table was a Caesar salad…. 10 minutes after everyone got their food - the salad was last and late. A few ordered the grits and added shrimp- $12 for 5 mini shrimp… not worth it…..
