BEAUTIFUL place, o.k. food. That seems to describe most of the beachfront restaurants in Tulum. Overly sweet margaritas, bland guacamole, main dishes served tepid. Tulum has become like Playa del C. and (god help us) and Cancun. Looking forward to the great restaurants of Merida.

Hace bastante que estábamos en mexico y necesitábamos comer comida tranquila sin excesos de condimentos, y en zamas encontramos lo que estábamos buscando. Además el ambiente súper tranquilo sin tanta de la vorágine de tulum en temporada alta.

Excellent local food in a beach-side setting with friendly service and the added bonus of a children’s menu. Our dinners were fresh and delicious, the only noise was the waves on the beach, and the waiters helped our kids with the foosball table so everyone had fun.
