   One of the most amazing meals we’ve ever had! Alexis was a fabulous server and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner due to her knowledge and friendly attitude. Sweet scallops cooked to perfection. Salmon in an Asian broth that was out of this world delicious! Cauliflower soup beyond imaginably good! The place is amazing and very romantic with a water view and twinkling lights. I hope we can return soon!

   Wonderful experience, great service and food was fantastic. Only negative is that if you're planning to stay a few nights, this is the only convenient place to eat. Would love to see a bit more variety on the menu or some kind of daily specials. The meue options just felt a bit limiting.

   Our meal was amazing, service was prompt, and the ambiance was beautiful. We were able to carry unfinished cocktails from the bar to the restaurant, too! Wonderful, intimate winter dinner!

   This was the perfect spot for lunch on a chilly day! The view of the lake was spectacular! The menu was crafty and featured locally sourced ingredients. The waitress was attentive but not intrusive. We will definitely return here for dinner!

    Absolutely love this place! So romantic. Our waitress was adorable. Food was great, wine and champagne selection was fantastic! Cannot wait to go back and actually stay on property for the nite.

    The Greystone is always a “days gone by experience “. Bucolic historic property. Warm attentive service. Fabulous food. We started our evening at the mansion with a cocktail in front of the library fire. This is like having your own English lakeside manor with a waitstaff. We then continued to the beautiful dining room. Another fireplace. Another equally stunning lakeside view. This particular night a full moon cast it’s winter glow on the glassy lake. I opted for another Leaf Looker cocktail, my husband had an Italian Amarone, and between the two of us , we enjoyed a fresh green salad with local pears, shrimp and grits, (best I’ve EVER had) and Asian styled salmon. Our server even produced gluten free rolls for me! The menu- just like everything else about the Greystone, embraces the classic while giving a nod to the contemporary. I love this place.

    The hamburger with fries came out hot. Nicer sized meat than other smashed burgers I’ve had. Shoe string fries are not my favorite, but they tasted good. Chicken was quite small on chicken sandwich although tasted good. Wonderful window seat with a great view of the lake.

    We were looking for a nice place to dine on vacation and found this place. Exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff was pleasant and the food was perfect. They even had different options for the vegetarian in the family.

    My wife and I both had the pork chop special sided with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Very tasty but the mashed potatoes were served at room temperature.

    Have had thanksgiving dinner @ Greystone for the past few years. Cost per person was high however not unexpected for a holiday meal. The ambience, as always, was spectacular. Limited entree with 3 choices, also expected. When we arrived we ordered a bottle of wine. Wine menu indicated 2019 vintage. Server brought us 2021. We pointed this out and she went in search of another. When that was resolved she asked us if we were ready to order. We weren’t. We hadnt even opened the bottle. We asked for bread….sorry no bread…ok, so we just sat and enjoyed our glass of wine. When the server came back and took our order this included dessert. Our dessert of choice was also “ unavailable”. During the meal we did notice this dessert was still being served to other guest. We went in search of another server who helped us with our dessert of choice. Food was great, ambience great, service not what I would expect from the Greystone. We were there for an enjoyable thanksgiving respite with great wine. Instead we felt rushed with a take it or leave it attitude. Very disappointing.

    Choice of 2 main courses for Thanksgiving I had to send back the pork chop. Horrible cut of meat and tough. Worst chop I ever had. View of lake was the only saving Grace. Flan desert was excellent. Chocolate and cherries tasted like powdered box pudding. We were rushed the entire time with no time between courses.

    We had a family brunch here Sunday. It took 1:25 minutes to get our food and the place was almost empty, I had a grilled chicken sandwich and my wife had a salad with grilled chicken. The chicken was so tough I could not even cut it with a knife and it was not edible. A really terrible experience. The F&B manager needs to wake up.
