Lovely food, very great views. Really lovely workers
Excellent service, very friendly.
Great quality of the food served.
Very relaxing place, peaceful.
Could do with an outdoor music but otherwise the rest of the venue was perfect.
Great restaurant, sat in the garden due to Covid restrictions but the waiting staff were very nice, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.
Would like other choice of cakes, didnt mix together unfortunately and would like menu so know what getting so can change what you are not keen on.
great service, food and gardens were beautiful to sit in. Will definitely be back x
Great location, lovely surroundings, excellent food and service
Always super at quorn grange would recommend to anyone. Shame it has to close during lock down
The quality of food is excellent and very good value , the service is very good , we have been going now for the last 5 to 6 sundays , and we have recommended the grange to all our friends.
I go to this restaurant on several occasions & always find the food very good the staff very helpful . I recommend quorn grange always
The staff member was really friendly and accommodating.
I come on a regular basis and find the staff excellent the food super
If you want good food , if pricey , with top class service in a beautiful building and surroundings , this is the place for you.
Very nice surroundings , polite friendly staff who were efficient and helpful meeting requests of food order.
Food was of very good quality and choice with a lovely selection of sandwiches and homemade cakes.
Overall good service and well worth a visit, will be coming back.
Lovely afternoon tea. Good selection of sandwiches and delicious cakes. Attentive staff.
Three Course meal chosen with a good range of choice.
Portions were small, but well presented.
Pleased with price because it cost us half the normal cost.
We were sadly disappointed by our visit. On our arrival we went to the bar but all on tap beer was off apart from one. My elderly father was asked to try a pint of beer before buying it in case it wasn’t right (it wasn’t). We felt that this was very unprofessional. The room where we ate was stark and lacked atmosphere. I understand that this was partly to do with Covid restrictions but I’m sure there was something you could have put on the tables to make it more welcoming. One waitress looked terrified to be there although both waitresses were helpful when we asked for things. My husband’s roast arrived without roast potatoes and these had to be brought separately. There was no apple sauce for the roast pork. Vegetables were brought out for the roasts and there was plenty but we thought it was odd that the same vegetables were given to the two members of our party who had the tagliatelle. Generally the food was good though. We had our wedding reception at The Quorn Grange many years ago and were saddened by how it now feels like a conference centre, rather than the lovely venue it once was. Once it was considered to be the place to do for a posh meal or a celebration. We will not be returning. Really sorry for this rather negative review, but I felt like I had to be honest!
Loved eating outside with our 2 x children. The afternoon tea was fab and the grounds lovely to be in.
The food was nice .... when it arrived !!! We were there for 2.5 hours . Thee Ed main course came nearly an hour after we finished our starters which also took a while , then we ordered sweet only to be told after about 20 mins that one of the sweets we wanted wasn’t available . The food was nice but not worth the wait . I have eaten here before and looked at my Facebook page where I had mentioned the wait then . It isn’t the fault of the servers but the food really needs to leave the kitchen faster . To have an hour wait between courses isn’t really on
Amazing venue, amazing atmosphere, lovely staff and amazing value for money but service was slow but didn’t spoil what was a lovely evening and perfectly cooked meal
Great food, great service as always.
Just if they remember to put on some background music would be perfect.
Lovely afternoon tea in beautiful surroundings. Staff were attentive and polte and the service ws excellent.
Lovely place, waiter was super friendly and really attentive. Lovely food and value for money
Afternoon tea in the week after easing of lockdown. good clear procedures, hand sanitiser, temp checks, clear social distancing with plenty of space. friendly and attentive staff, and food all home made, very nice selection of sandwiches, savoury pastries, scones and cakes. They were not able to make their own jam or clotted cream yet but will start to do that soon. Also taking contact details for tracing if needed. Well worth coming out for.
Food was delicious and service was attentive, highly recommended.
Wonderful food, beautifully presented - superb value. Compliments to the chef!
Very pleasant service and good food as always. They went out of their way at the last minute to cater for my wife who asked if it was possible for any vegan main options and drew up an entire menu of choices. Thanks a lot.
Very nice afternoon tea will definitely come back in the future
Love coming to the Grange. Been to a event. For the lovely dinner.which is exceptional for the price, high tea again beautifully done. All members of staff I have met. Have been pleasant and approachable. The decor is nice. And relaxing. Highly recommend it there.
WE cancelled this booking, as to such a poor menu....................and a wedding going on that was extremely noisy , and the guests were spread out all over the bar, the corridors.
Lovely setting, especially on a warm evening looking into the beautiful garden area with windows open. Staff attentive and the food was very good though perhaps the menu a little limited. The herb covered goats cheese starters were very tasty and the steaks we had were great and done exactly as requested. The port and stilton sauce in particular was marvellous. Very clean and looked as if only recently decorated to a high standard.
We went for our daughters 21st birthday meal in the week, we used our taste cards so it was extremely good value
Birthday afternoon tea
We visited the Quorn Grange on a Sunday even it was very quiet when we first arrived we were the only customers in the restaurant. We went because we had a 2 for 1 deal with meerkat comparison site. on production of the voucher we were told they did not accept the vouchers anymore and have been trying to communicate with the company since November. So if you like us are going because of the 2 for 1 don't bother because they won't accept it. Having said all that we had a pleasant evening the service was very good the food was lovely. I had an issue with my dessert but this was rectified so on the whole we had a pleasant experience.
Staff were very accommodating, the food was good especially the desserts and the vegan menu was a really nice touch. The bar sitting area was nice. Our only slightly negative comment is that the meals took quite a while to arrive. Very good views of the garden area. We would be happy to go back.
Most enjoyable evening meal with very attentive service. Restaurant was very quite (we were the only diners) in the post Christmas lull but the staff made sure we were not forgotten. Both food and accommodation were very good.
Good parking, beautiful building and lovely garden with tables, chairs and sunshades. Helpful and welcoming staff. Restaurant tastefully decorated and tables laid correctly. Immaculate table linen and sparkling glassware. The carvery was excellent but vegetables lacked salt. The cruet set had not been checked before the table was laid. Although there was plenty of salt in the pot, the hole was blocked.
However, when this was drawn to the attention of the waiting staff the situation was quickly remedied.
We shall certainly pay a return visit.
The restaurant was recommended by a friend, so my wife and I visited it to celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary. It lived up to and exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by a charming young lady who went on to take and serve our order. The food, service and ambience were were all very good. A repeat visit is assured.
Unfortunately there were only 3 of us in the restaurant but despite this the wait for food was far too long . Also the risotto I ordered was nothing like the menu , I didn’t like it and when I complained I was told the chef had complaints the original recipe was too bland so he had ‘added’ to it .. I am afraid it wasn’t for me , far too fragrant and not like previous risottos that I have enjoyed there . The service was extremely slow despite being the only table in the restaurant so on this occasion I wasn’t impressed( having to wait at least 20 minutes in between courses) . On a positive note the chef had decorated my partners plate with happy birthday as requested but on the whole I was disaapointed on this occasion ( sadly it was my partners 65th birthday so that made it even more of a letdown )
We stayed the night at this lovely hotel and had a three course meal, wine and coffee in their restaurant. The food was exceptional and particularly the beef medallion which was superb. Good choice of wines and very friendly efficient waiting staff. Excellent.
They had no idea we were coming, the staff laid us a table while we waited in the reception.
The food and the staff are very good at this restaurant. Shame about the booking system.
