Nice place, bu insufferably hot. We were seated right in front of the kitchen and wood fire oven. It was inconsiderate not to seat us elsewhere, as it was for our anniversary. We finally requested to be moved to a cooler part of the restaurant. Maybe ok for December, but not June.

Hi Michael, I want to personally apologize for the discomfort during your recent visit. While we typically reserve that table for special occasions, I understand how the heat made it less than ideal—especially on your anniversary. Our intention was to offer a special experience, and I am so sorry that we missed the mark completely. Our AC is working but struggles during heat waves. We're actively working on improvements, but they take a little time. Thank you for the feedback. I would love to have you return to experience The North Block Restaurant as we intend it to be enjoyed. I will send you a private note with my contact information. While the food is good I do feel the menu needs some adjustments, maybe an additional steak somewhere in the middle Of a skirt and tomahawk, a chicken dish would be good, like a piccata or Marsala, more Morel mushrooms on the tasting menu course that has morels, while there were some there larger and more prevalent would be good. specials on the menu, like a good fish, a burger and fries rather than just on HH in the bar.

One of our cocktails was $23 which is very unfriendly since it was not anything that special to bring it to this price. Food was good and service was very good. We will return

Outstanding food, drink and service at North Block. We stayed at the resort and dined in one night. It was one of the best dinners we had in and around Napa! Food was beautifully balanced and fresh. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend!

We were a group of six locals eating outside on a Saturday night. We had the tasting menu which was terrific. Every course was a winner and the price was very reasonable. Service was excellent and sitting outside on lovely warm night made the evening very enjoyable. Will be back.
