We were a group of six locals eating outside on a Saturday night. We had the tasting menu which was terrific. Every course was a winner and the price was very reasonable. Service was excellent and sitting outside on lovely warm night made the evening very enjoyable. Will be back.

EXCEPTIONAL!! Spring tasting menu with wine pairings far exceeded my expectations! The gnocchi was my favorite dish the smokiness of the consomme’ was outstanding. Some reviews say the pairings were poor- I found that the wine pairings were outstanding. It was an early dinner so it was v quiet- which I loved. Service was excellent and they happily accepted my service dog being with me. It was a very special birthday dinner and a beautiful walk through Yountville back to the Bardessano. Thank you North Block for a lovely birthday!!

$90 tasting menu was a divine cuisine experience. We also added on a dozen oysters to start. Didn’t take advantage of the wine pairing ($50pp). Highly recommend a visit.

Going out on Mother's Day (and other holidays) can be hit & miss. Usually, the restaurants have "special" inflated menues and the service can be rough due to overcrowding. Unfortunately, these were not the issues here. We arrived to a 3/4 empty restaurant and when asked about being seated inside vs. outside, we were confronted with a frown and and it seemed to be a huge ask - despite being 3/4 empty. Next, other than the busboy giving us waters, our waiter didn't show for 10 + minutes, and, at that point only to tell us that he was dropping off drinks and would be "back in 2 minutes". When another 10 minutes passed, we left.
