Enjoy a relaxed dining experience in a rustic, yet classy setting featuring historical photos on the creation of The Woodlands by oilman George Mitchell. Owners Terry & Jennifer McBurney offer guests a variety of Texan and Southern inspired cuisine complemented by professional and courteous service. Enjoy mouthwatering appetizers such as Crab Cakes, Coconut Shrimp, Jumbo Grilled Wings or Caprese. Entrees include American Wagyu Chicken-Fried Steak, Texas Quail, Certified Angus Steaks, Blackened Flounder unique Pasta dishes and Salads. End your meal with one of many scratch made Desserts including a gluten free Strawberry Shortcake.

Featured on the TV show GoodTaste, it has received rave reviews in the Houston Chronicle, Zagat, Open Table and PKWY Magazine. This restaurant even provides a relaxing patio where guests can enjoy live music depending on the season.

    The food as always was very good and as we had expected, the consistency is what makes this place a gem! Prices are reasonable and worthy! Madelynn our service was very welcoming, attentive and informed and to top it off she had a smile that was infectious!! We absolutely loved her service!

    Truly one of the most consistent local restaurants in the area. The food is always amazing, the portions huge, and the service excellent. Have enjoyed both the Woodlands and Spring locations for many years.

    This was only my 2nd visit to TRG and we were not disappointed. Very nice dinner!! We shall be back.

    everything about the Republic Grill in the Woodlands is excellent EXCEPT for the VERY LOUD music blaring on the speakers in the ceiling. had to raise my voice to have a conversation with my wife across the table. if you don't mind LOUD music blaring from the ceiling this is an excellent place to eat

    Food is great. My favorite is the Chicken Fried Steak, but every item on the menu is a HIT!!

    Excellent service, great waitress, great food. The main problem was the noise level. There was a woman singing all through dinner, and it was so loud in the dining room to the right, that the six of us could couldn't carry on a conversation. Very disappointed.

    Our server Josh, did a wonderful job making our experience more personal. The wait time on the main course was only about 10 minutes after we received our appetizers. He made our first time eating here a great experience.
