The Regional Kitchen & Public House
Delicious food! It’s a loud restaurant, but wonderful cuisine.
Food was awesome, beautiful setting. Only suggestions would be room temperature was slightly warm inside and server could make more frequent visits to table. His service was professional and kind when he did interract with us. Will visit again and recommend to all, just constructive criticism. Thank you
Well designed space, Interesting menu - food ok and not over salted which is often the case in many restaurants. Buttermilk Ranch salad dressing tasted mostly like buttermilk. Boneless chicken was very good. But, $52 least expensive bottle of wine....Wine Spectator award. Convenient to Convention Center.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Upon arrival, the valet didn’t seem to be operating smoothly and there was a significant delay at dropping off the car and receiving a ticket. As I walked into The Regional and approached the hostess stand, I noticed that it felt “warm” inside. When I asked the host, they informed us that the AC was not working in the main dining room and suggested the lounge/bar area. We waited 15 minutes before I approached the host stand for menus. We decided to sit at the bar just to have the only staff member, the bartender, ask to take our drink and lunch order. The Regional was severely understaffed and service was slow. The cup for my tea had a floating participle in it. No one asked if we wanted another drink. Since no one came back to ask us if he needed anything, we to go to host stand and request more dressing. The food was at best, average. The staff was not accommodating and we were made to feel that we were bothering them with basic restaurant “givens.” I’m writing this review will make management aware of the issue and resolve them so future patrons will not have a poor dining experience.
We were a party of 4 and two dinners came out and it took 13 minutes for the other two to arrive. The two that came out had eggs which were cold. I always thought that was a given in any restaurant that everyone is served at the same time. When I asked the server she just blamed the kitchen but she should have never served two dinners. The food was very nice and the decor was restoration hardware on steroids.
The ambiance and food were excellent. Smaller portions make for good sharing. The service was high end and accommodating to our larger party size. The signature cocktails were especially noteworthy. Will definitely be coming back again soon.
Limited menu and small portions but good quality. More healthy choices on menu would help.
As always the service was impeccable!! We went to dinner before a show at the Kravis Center and we were served quickly and efficiently. The only complaint that I have was the temperature of the restaurant. The last several times I have been to the regional the air conditioning has seemed to be on the fritz. If it was working my review would have been 5 stars!
They gave me a booth. Back room was not open. They had no bread. .i know they gave me bread on our last visit.
Exceptional as usual. I tried the Bucatini for the first time. Fabulous. And save room for the carrot cake for dessert--real cream cheese frosting. The wine list is a bit thin...
Great date night!
While the food was very good, the noise level was so high that it made having a conversation almost impossible. We were a party of 4 - in a booth - and could barely hear each other across the table. Our server was efficient, but without any sense of warmth or friendliness. And, considering the fact that our group had only two appetizers, no desserts or coffee, the $120 price tag was far too high.
Had a reservation but had to wait 15 minutes despite several open tables. Server seemed annoyed with us at beginning but got better towards last half of visit. Just not attentive. Food was good but not overwhelming. We have been here previously and had much better experience- not sure what happened.
Have been here several times. Seems to have been some negative changes. Wait staff seems to all be new people, portions are smaller, and they no longer give you free parking. For what they charge for a glass of wine, the pours are very small. Just not as good as it used to be.
Food was just ok so a little disappointing
Exception was tomato pie which was outstanding
Food came quickly and efficiently
Incredible food. Chicken thighs are amazing, and house hot sauce was wonderful. Can't wait to go back.
Great restaurant. Perfect for pre Kravis or pre Art Fair
Food was as delicious as always, rib eye cooked to perfection and short rib tender and flavorful. Service not as good as on previous visits. It appeared our server had tables in two rooms with at least one large party so may have been overwhelmed. The tables for two in the side room are too close to each other! I was afraid I’d knock something off the table next to us trying to squeeze in to my seat (and I am not a big person), and it was not very private for conversation. We’ll be back, but will request seating in a different area.
The portions small and the price high. In spite of having a reservation, others were seated before us. It appeared that more important customers were seated first and at better tables.
I had pork Milanese with 3 sides, Cole slaw, Brussels sprouts and deviled eggs. Everything was delicious!
Very convenient to Kravis center, food is good and its an energetic place. Servers are very attentive and nice. A good varied menu.
Food and service were excellent. For the portions a little overpriced, but again, was delicious and we would return.
Food came cold and not as ordered. When we were there it wasn't busy so the food shouldn't have come out that way. Food didn't come out at the same time for everyone. Manager tried to correct things but sometimes you don't have a second chance to make a good first impression.
Food was different but good. Wines by the glass decent and service was good. Parking a bit of a pain.
We enjoyed our meals. Tyler was an excellent, courteous, engaging server. The bar was crowded and a little slow, but it was fine to be there for a time because we were early for our reservation. Looks like everyone was eating early because the tables really opened up after 8, so if you are a “late diner” you should find space here. Well worth it.
Loved the look and the service was impeccable! We ordered the Fried Green Tomato’s and Fried Chicken Thighs as appetizer’s. Both were awesome ! There were 4 of us and 2 of us ordered the ribeye, it was served as requested but had a taste of charcoal or has that made it a bit unpleasant:-(
I will go back but probably won’t order the steak .
Excellent food at a high quality restaurant in Downtown W. Palm Beach. Not inexpensive but definitely worth the money as everyone in our foursome enjoyed their meal. Our bill for wife and I with 2 drinks and no desert was $109 plus tip.
Enjoyed our dinner.
Alexander was our server. He was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the drinks and food menu and made outstanding recommendations. We chose 3 appetizers, the pimento cheese, chicken thighs and fried green tomatoes. Each was excellent. Generous portions, easily shareable. Entrees were equally excellent. We even had desserts and they were both great. The service timing was wonderful. We had a show to go to afterwards, so it was even a bit faster than we liked. But it is a "return to" place for sure.
Menu is too limited and portions are small.
excellent food and service , including valet parking..... but very pricy
Very good food especially the tomato pie. Service was average since it appeared they were understaffed. After saying that, we will definitke go back.
Phenomenal experience all around! Great desserts!!!! Just saying !!!
I am here frequently. Hard to believe any can be perfect but this one is very close. The food is wonderful. Perfectly seasoned. Fresh ingredients always and creative menu items.
Also very relaxed dining yet 5 star food and service.
Nice vibe, nice bar and bartenders. Sat us in a corner next to kitchen.
We've been here another time, and it was outstanding. This visit was just average. They were very busy, and the kitchen was in the weeds. It took a long time for our entrees, and one was not very hot. The sunflower risotto is literally warm sunflower seeds and not very good. The favorite of the night was pimento cheese.
We were their for our anniversary. The service and food was excellent. Had an amazing time until we went to pick up our car from the valet.
The valet cashier as well as the car valets were very unpleasant and not helpful, with a do not care attitude. Which ruined a great experience. Probably will not go back.
Excellent food, presentation and service. Would highly recommend!
