The Regional Kitchen & Public House
Dinner 5:00 pm
First time visit to Regional Kitchen. I think it’s a great spot. Nice lunch options and the service was superb. I had the flank steak on avocado toast and it was tasty. Also a nice wine list - great stop before shopping at City Place.
This was a great surprise. Food was delicious, noise level is high.
Excellent ambience and great food! We had the steak. It was excellent! We will definately be back. This was our second visit to The Regional.
Everything was great, our waiter and food could not have been better!
Our waiter was not very good. Slow to bring requested items. Did not bring one dinner and did not even notice. We’ve never had bad service, but this time it was awful.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at The Regional. Being a Potluck dinner, we decided to try one dish each from the guest chef and one dish from Lindsay Autry. All four dishes were delicious and the service was excellent. The wine list is excellent and very deep. We cannot wait to return.
Came to the restaurant with no preconceived notions. After being seated we were introduced to Jason our waiter. Jason made our dining experience an excellent. All of his recommendations (drinks and food) were outstanding.
All the food we ordered was of good quality.
Jason’s timing was impecable whenever we needed his assistance he was there - never had to call him!
Eso if you decide to visit try to get Jason as your server, you won’t be disappointed.
We've been to The Regional Kitchen many times, but this was the first time we were disappointed with the food. They had an "all you can eat" fried chicken dinner special, which my wife and I were looking forward to. (The best fried chicken we've ever had was in North Carolina - the home State of the Regional's owner/chef.) Some of the white meat (pieces of) chicken breast were sometimes juicy and sometimes dry. The (pieces of) dark meat chicken thighs were at least 50% crispy, oily, bread/cornflake-like coating and only 50%, or less, meat.
Whole chicken breasts and whole thighs, with much less coating, would have made a much tastier meal. We'll be back, because the chef is really talented, and the restaurant is a fun place to eat at. But next time we will pass on the fried chicken.
Creative southern menu-celebrating National fried chicken day! We will definitely be back soon.
When for the fried chicken special. Was a little disappointed, chicken breast was boneless, coating was crispy but had no taste. If not for their house sauce it would have been tasteless, the sides dishes were very good.
Excellent from beginning to end! The farm to table concept was carried out perfectly. Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and knew the Menu making great recommendations for evert course. Cobia was fresh and very flavorful along with the steak. The carrot cake was better than promised.
The ambiance is so relaxing yet pristine-
Best food and restaurant ever!!!
Interesting appetizer menu, we made our meal out of this. Very good and attentive service. wine list was a little limited but more than adequate. The only downside is a lack of parking but this is compensated for by the restaurant paying for the valet parking
Absolutely fabulous food, service ambiance. Only dowm side very noisy
Our adult son, who is a chef, and I took my husband to the Regional Kitchen for dinner on Father’s Day, and were looking forward to a leisurely meal that would permit time for conversation and catching up. We decided to order an assortment of small plates, and I asked the server to space out the delivery, to 2 at a time. He either didn’t relay that request to the kitchen or the chef forgot. Six plates arrived at once, overwhelming us and overcrowding the table. Some of the food cooled off before we got to it. There was no reason to hurry us; the restaurant was not busy. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience even though the food itself was yummy.
Great service. Great atmosphere. Beautiful place. Food fantastic. It was a great evening.
Wonderful food, great presentation & service, will definitely be back!
Very nice restaurant, food was very good but expensive .
Every food item we ordered was bland. The food just seemed to be missing something.
Excellent food, great service
Absolutely amazing!! So accommodating and wonderful! We had two infants and they quickly provided us an amazing table to enjoy an exquisite birthday lunch.
Drinks were outstanding, food portions good, however the cobia was slightly overdone and the low country boil lacked seasoning. Not unhappy with the meal but I know Chef Autry can do better.
I’ve dined at The Regional many times and have loved every experience. The food is always delicious. Today was really awful. The seared snapper was mushy. They did not have the tomato salad, the deviled eggs were terrible. We couldn’t eat them. AND the noise level today was unbearable. I’m glad the restaurant had so much business with the convention crowd, but unfortunately, as a full time resident I won’t be returning any time soon.
Chef Autry has created a masterpiece. I’ve never handed out across the board 5 Stars in any Florida restaurant before. The menu is inventive and executed perfectly. The staff is attentive and personable without being over bearing. A bit noisy for us but we’re in an “older demographic”.
Food and service was FANTASTIC! Had the octopus as an appetizer. It was moist and delicious and the snapper in the banana leaf was to die for. Highly recommend this restaurant not only for the food, service but also the ambiance!
Food excellent wait staff very courteous and astute so as I o not interrupt during conversations taking place
My appetizer (garlic shrimp toast) and main course we're both delicious. Although I ordered the least expensive entree the Patty Melt was just what I was in the mood for! Both dishes made you swoon with each bite.
My wife ordered the tomato soup which was also delicious. Bright and fresh tasting. Her entree became a bit confusing. She asked about the "simply prepared" fish option and was told she could order any of the fish from the other menu items but have it "simply prepared". She chose the snapper from the snapper prepared in banana leaf but apparently got the banana leaf preparation. Not wanting to wait for a re-do she just ate it as presented. It was also very good but not what she ordered or expected.
I look forward to a return visit to try some more items on this interesting menu.
Delicious food and craft cocktails. Great for a special date night. A little pricey, but worth it for that special occasion.
Beautiful restaurant. Sides amazing. Service impeccable. Main dishes nice size, nice presentation but slightly under seasoned.
Terrific selection of unique food choices - the tomato pie was a real treat and both our entrees - the cobia and short ribs were outstanding. I had a bourbon cocktail where the glass was rinsed with Absinthe and it was delicious. The hand pie (blueberry and peach) with a side of soft cream was a delight but the mini ice cream sandwiches had too much cookie relative to the amount of ice cream - recommend reducing the cookie size. Lovely atmosphere and bar area.
This was our third time at the Regional and we will be back again. Try it, I am sure you will like it.
Food was excellent, service fabulous. Bartender knew how to make an old fashion.
I would highly recommend coming to eat at this establishment. Price was set at a perfect point to the amount of food and quality of the food.
Friday evening and they were pretty busy. Service started our slow, but became more attentive as we went along. Pricey wine list, but some very nice selections.
The perfect spot for pre-performance dining at the Kravis Center. This has become our “go-to” place prior to Kravis Center performances. A block from Kravis, this relatively new restaurant has great food from an innovative menu, exceptional service in a clean and stylish setting. Love this place.
Service was excellent! Food was bland which really surprised me. I never add salt to food but added to my appetizer and entree. For me this was just a one time visit unless I come back for bar only. Been waiting a long time to visit this restaurant and glad I got to try it. But won’t be back, mediocre.
Second time to Regional, this time with a party of 5. This is a cool and sophisticated spot for business or social gatherings, the menu's Southern influence is a real pleasure, the service is cordial, competent and professional in its execution. The space is very smart in design, relaxed and dressy at the same time. Always appreciate valet parking in this area of WPB.
We were in the bar with Paul as our bartender. He was INCREDIBLE! Very friendly and attentive. There were three of us in our party. One ordered the Low Country Seafood Boil and it was a dish I know I’ll go back for. My husband and I ordered the Cobi Simply Prepared. I’ve had it before and it was outstanding. This time the chef cooked the fish a little too dry. I didn’t even eat my second piece because it was so overdone BUT the sides were amazing and filling. I ordered the Brussels sprouts and the broccoli with cheese and my husband ordered the Brussels sprouts and risotto for his sides. As I said they were all outstanding. We should have sent back the fish I suppose but Paul was so good to us, we were ok with it. :)
We enjoyed glasses of wine at the bar before we were sat at our table as we were a little early. The restaurant has a great ambiance; free valet parking is available. Service was great and food was delicious! We will be back.
We have fined here before and once again it didn’t disappoint. The service, wait staff and all involved were friendly, professional and personable. The food was exceptional and of course if you don’t order the tomato pie you are missing out.
Love this place and will make it our go to.
Wonderful food with great presentation fairly priced great service from Toma
