Comfort Food
The Regional serves hometown American food from the farm, from the ranch, and from the docks. SIMPLY PUT, THE REGIONAL TASTES LIKE HOME. We work with Colorado suppliers to cook the homegrown comfort food that we all know and love. For some, that may be creamy shrimp and grits or oysters – for others, it’s crispy fried chicken and curly fries. Either way, no matter which corner of this country you’re from, we know you’ll find a familiar favorite in our kitchen.

We will be offering our 3 course New Year's Eve menu for $75 this evening alongside a wine pairing for an additional $25. This will be the only menu offered this evening. Menu will be posted soon. Please inquire about any special dietary requests.

Normally food and service are exceptional. The service was sloooow and the food was good but not exceptional. It may have been an off night since every prior experience has been 5 Stars. We will definitely try again.

We arrived on time and were asked to wait a few minutes before our table was ready. Went to the bar and the bartender talked us through some wines and let us taste a couple we were unfamiliar with before deciding on a bottle - excellent service here.
The food was OUTSTANDING. Mussels appetizer was large and delicious. The Tri-Tip was great, mashed potatoes excellent - cleaned our plates thoroughly. Shared the "apple pie" desert with some vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. Our waitress lost track of at the end of the evening and had to get up to ask her for the check - but otherwise nearly a perfect experience. Planning our next visit.

This was a wonderful experience The staff were amazing. The food was out of this world good. I highly recommend this restaurant to any one who would enjoy a low key friendly atmosphere where you can visit with each other without having to shout to carry on conversations.

I would only recommend this restaurant with the caveat that it is noisy, and expensive. My husband and I thought the food was delicious, BUT both of our entrees came out cold. Then, he ordered an Irish coffee with our dessert and the drink never came (it eventually came after dessert and the cream was all curdled into the drink. Gross!) We will try again on another night in the future, we went in a Saturday) but won't be going out of our way to dine here again soon.

Always a hit. Staff is polite, knowledgable, flexible with our reservations. I.e. counter reso yet we decide to sit at bar.

We had the lamb tenderloin. Altho we did not specify our preferred degree of doneness (we weren't asked) the plates were different. One was medium and one medium rare, OR, one medium well and one medium, depending on your expectation. They should have been the same IMO. Our preference tends toward more cooked than less. Anyway, the lamb was excellent. It was served with a spicy rub, a preparation we've never encountered but worth repeating.

The house pinot noir was very good, as was the ale from Timnath brewery and the manhattan. Ditto for the carrot cake.

If you're looking for a quiet night out, avoid on a weekend evening, especially if seated in the bar area.

Our entrees were large proportions. Next time will share an entree and leave room for dessert- awesome dessert menu. Noise level very high. Too high in one of the dining areas so moved to the other. Also, somewhat crowded. Excellent service and food arrived quickly.

Kind of mixed on the food, have eaten here 4 times.
- Pork roast, pretty darn good though the grits were a bit under cooked.
- Rubbed steak. This is a tri tip, the meat was the toughest I have ever had in a restaurant. Gave it to my chickens
- The Reggie burger, perhaps the best burger in town!
- Dinner special, had the fried chicken. The chicken was pretty good. Rubbed with something sweet which made it looked burnt. The brie/salad was odd

Great happy hour deal on oysters and burger (no fries) with a shot and a beer for $10

The burgers are the best in town! Try the all day Happy Hour on Tuesday where you can get a gourmet burger, a shot and a beer for $10.

The food was very mediocre. My husband and I both got a burger which came with just spinach and aioli and was mediocre at best. We also ordered hot drummies and the chicken was incredibly dry despite having a lot of hot sauce. I ordered a glass of wine and it came with 4 oz of wine in the glass while my mother's glass had 8 oz. There was no consistency and it was expensive for mediocre food and service.

The food and service were excellent. We were there for happy hour and a meal. We had a little difficulty with the noise level, but we prefer quieter places. It was not much different than many other restaurants in Ft Collins

We are new Old Town residents and The Regional has become our favorite spot for delicious, healthy food. Curated wines and specialty cocktails. Kevin Grossi takes care to know his guests, provide a comfortable environment for all. Coffee, patties baked daily. It truly is a welcoming place. Try it out for lunch! That lobster roll is my favorite. Thanks for giving us a fabulous place to come and relax Kevin. We appreciate you so much.

We enjoyed a great happy hour at The Regional. The food and flavors were great, and the happy hour menu is a GREAT VALUE! The service was a bit slow at the beginning, but it remained relaxed even as the dinner rush started. I appreciated that the server did not make us feel rushed, even as tables around us were filling up and we continued to enjoy dessert and each other’s company. Dessert (seasonal cobbler) was delicious and a highlight! We’ll be back!

Special course meals on Thursdays are very good deal. Their appetizers and large plates are contemporary, creative and very tasty. However, we have not found their desserts to be special. It might be a better option to skip their desserts and go elsewhere for sweets.

This was our second dining experience at the Regional. The food was excellent both times. The main reason I gave 4-stars overall, instead of 5-stars is the poor liquor selection. For example, there is not a good gin available for a martini. PLEASE get Hendricks gin.

Great lamb, bass, and spaghetti with lobster. Service was very good and the staff was very generous when learning it was my wife’s birthday. It’s so nice to have an original restaurant in Fort Collins. Appetizers were creative and everything was super fresh.

Regional seems to be coming into its own. Usually one or two of the mains would have serious issues. Last service the menu was great and all the dishes exceptional. I will say the desserts this last time were painfully disappointing- pineapple upside down cake had a very weird texture and may have been undercooked. Pie was ok but lacked any real flavor. Looking forward to our next visit

It was my friend's birthday and we wanted something special, but we are always looking for new experience. I had been wanting to try The Regional, so we did...and we were really glad. I made the reservation and when we arrived they were expecting us and seated us in the area we specified. We each tried a new drink...amazing; we each tried a small plate to share...amazing; we shared the Tomato Pie...amazing. We will return.

The Regional continues to impress with amazing food and stellar service. Unique, delicious cocktails, food that pleases with every bite. I highly recommend the lamb with creamed corn and the raw oysters. I’m an oyster purist, but the pickle juice splash was an epiphany!

Sort of a modern farmhouse feel. Cozy dining spot. Everything we had was delicious - crab roll, fried oyster mushroom, pork shoulder, lamb. The pork shoulder was so tender! My boyfriend and I couldn't decide which plate we liked best. Fresh, flavorful. Probably not ideal for parties larger than 5-6 people but great for a date night! Foodie-approved.

I've enjoyed my other visits to the regional, but the service was not great this time. Also, menu seems to be more limited than when they first opened, and there are not many vegetarian friendly options.

Very good food and friendly, knowlegable staff. Only complaint is that it took awhile to get waters & menus, for our server to come to our table and for our cocktails to be delivered. After that, everything was great. Will definitely go back!

First time to The Regional and we really enjoyed it. When we get back to Fort Collins, we'll go back again. I had sea bass w/ beets, dill cucumbers. Outstanding - fish perfectly done and tasty combination. If you are hungry, be sure to add a side and/or starter. My husband had the beef (tri-tip sugar steak, I think); very good, but a bit overdone vs. the medium request. Service was very good - the waitperson had just been there a month, so didn't have all the answers, but was quick to find them out. Some people comment the kitchen is slow, but we really enjoyed the pace so we could enjoy our drink, conversation and meal. Definitely a good find!

The food at the Regional is excellent, local food from surrounding farms. Some items, like the lobster pasta, obviously do not come from Colorado, but the majority of menu items do. It is tough to balance the availability of fresh local food with a varied menu and so far the Regional is doing well at it. I recommend that the Regional plan special evenings for a fixed price that feature 100% local fresh items to highlight Colorado's agricultural resources.

Came here early evening on a Saturday. The food and drinks were great however service was a little slow. We’ll be back for sure!
