Absolutely LOVED the food. The waitress was great, the mood was perfect. We had a great evening.
Good food, great service but a bit pricey
Very good option if you are looking for a Cajun inspired seafood restaurant that is pretty low key. Very good menu selection. I would not hesitate to visit again if in the area. The calamari appetizer was good and our party of 4 all enjoyed their main course.
Was a great evening, food was great, amazing guitar player every Saturday night!
Food is always great and staff has always been on point
Great food, service and outdoor patio. Very pleased!
My Mississippi catfish was under cooked it was raw.
Our server, Madelyn - was amazing!!! She wasn't in our face but when it felt like we needed something...,BOOM! - She was there. It was like she was either reading our mind or, she was stalking us. Either way - she rocks!
Went to the Reel for brunch on a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. The food was excellent, service was great. Will definitely be back.
Excellent but most restaurants for some reason think noise is good
What a fabulous meal! Everything was delicious and fresh and the portion size was very generous.
Service was great portions were huge. Food was average.
Exceptional food choices and very quick service. Our waitress was the best!!!!
Food was good, it usually is!! Our server Dani went above and beyond her call of duty to make sure not only we were taken care of, but all her other tables were as well!! Thank you for allowing us to get out, have a cocktail, great food, incredible service in a nice, clean restaurant!!
Something different and close to home. Glad I found this restaurant. The food wasn't average but I really liked the outdoor seating available.
Notice new servers and I believe ownership but food and service is always good and Continues to be so!
Hello Val, it is still under the same ownership! Thanks for stopping by & leaving a review :)
Food was very good.. fried shrimp was good but size very small..highly recommend seafood fondue..not crowed at all and meal took 1hr..but,we will come back and try lunch.
Several people in my party felt that the food wasn’t as good as usual. My rice was undercooked (crunchy) and a friend’s meal, which was to come with vegetables, had two slices of onion only. Not the quality of food I’m used to at The Reel.
Hi Jenny, I apologize your recent experience was not up to par. We are more than happy to resolve situations like this immediately. Please always feel free to ask for a manager should you feel your meal is not up to par. We do our very best to ensure consistency but we are a scratch kitchen and do make mistakes on occasion. Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate it and will use it to improve guest visits.
Food was delish!!!!
We were seating promptly at our reserved time and we decided to dine outside because of, you know, Covid. I felt that there was a bit too much fan activity from overhead and otherwise as the day was not that hot. Once seated, I noticed in horror as my wife was seated on a wicker chair with a couple of streaks of dried bird poo about 6 inches from both shoulders. One to the left and one to right. After deciding that she would not likely run into them, I decided not to alarm her and didn't say anything.
We ordered drinks and an appetizer. I was disappointed in the margaritas as they really were no better than what I could make myself. When I spend $10 on a margarita, I expected it to be better than I could make.
The calamari appetizer was good as far as Texas goes. I had to ask to make sure that the pieces were of the ring variety as we don't like the version that's like eating a gulf prawn.
Both of our fish entries were cooked perfectly, but again, when I ordered an old fashioned, it was this weird mountain of ice in it.
So, overall, my opinion is stick to the wine and beer here and dine inside and you will have a pleasant experience.
It was very good.
Our first time to eat here. Service was quick staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We'll be back.
The service was excellent. I had the stuffed flounder and it was amazing. The calamari was excellent as well. We will be returning in the future.
Waiter we had was not to attentive in providing good service!! Got our orders wrong & kept apologizing for it. Had to ask for several things multiple times.
Again not a very good experience being our first time to try this place someone recommended was good. Food was good but again didn’t get what was ordered & did not want to wait more time to have him place the order again !
Always a great place to eat. Excellent drinks and the seafood is delicious.
Our server was very knowledgeable and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back soon!
This is a suitable restaurant given the prices they charge. Dishes were unremarkable, over cooked, this is fish after all.
With the whole covid thing it appeared our server was over served and did her best, nice job but it didn't matter with the food being so so.
Been eating here for years because it’s within a mile of my business location. Always great and very nice people.
I gave the food 3 stars because my husbands stuffed flounder was good. My shrimp brochette was cold, tiny shrimp, very very salty and ice cold rice. We ordered an appetizer and salads, and got our entrees first. When we said we didnt want the appetizer or salads anymore they were nice enough to comp them. We had been there before but probably wont go back.
They were closed. We were able to make a reservation and drove across town to a closed restaurant.
Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Everyone was polite and professional. Guitarist was the perfect addition to a great evening!
Food was amazing as always but our server seamed very distracted. I have had better service in the past
Our server, Madlyn, was the only good thing about our brunch. She was terrific. Even though we had a reservation, it took forever to seat us. The young fellow who was hosting really didn't know what he was doing. Our order was screwed up - our dear friend ordered oysters and they brought the wrong ones out. My wife's pancakes were over-cooked and dry. By fondue omelette was over-cooked as well. Not a good experience for a restaurant that is typically very good. CHANGE THE MANAGER !!!
Great food! Hostess was a little overwhelmed and we had to wait a bit, but overall all we had a good experience. We will definitely go again! Seafood Enchiladas are delicious!
Food good. Service poor. Didn’t seat us until 30 mins after our reservation time.
Great seafood and good drink section.
Much quieter than McAdoo and better price.
Really great and safe date night.
1st visit but won't be the last. Let daughter pick the restaurant as long as there was outside seating and we were all happy with her decision. Food very good (although bread basket boring & Lobster Bisque not up to par) and service was excellent! We are both previous restaurant owners/operators and service snobs. Leighton our server didn't miss a beat.
Awesome time it was our 31st wedding anniversary the drinks and food were amazing we will definitely be back.
