Visited on the opening weekend for Sunday lunch. Starters and mains were lovely, cleared plates all round! Food was hot and generous portions. We ordered a side of pigs in blankets - great!

we had the 2 course sunday lunch the food was lovely nicely cooked and presented, the drinks were a little overpriced ,

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. There was live music in the bar but this didn't filter through to the restaurant at all. Will definitely be returning

Love that the Red Lion has reopened, lots of staff, good food although my Red Lion Chicken breast meal was quite small, potato rosti needs to be bigger and more veg, however it tasted delicious! We will be back!

The pub has been decorated throughout and looks really nice and fresh, and the restaurant looks amazing. The tables are nicely laid out. The starters were very good and presented lovely in their dishes. The lasagna, which I chose, was very tasty and was served with salad garlic bread and also chips. Would definitely recommend it. However, the fish and chips that my husband chose all be it the fish was tasty the batter for his liking was slightly over cooked. But all in all, it was a lovely experience, and the service was impeccable and will definitely be returning.

My food was very spicy too hot to eat, it did not say on the menu that it was spicy or I wouldn’t have ordered that particular food

Lovely staff, very attentive…..food was awesome but a bit too slow considering it wasn’t busy as we booked a table for 5pm but it was the 1st day of opening…we were given a free sweet for the delay in service (we hadn’t complained but was nice to recognised as an unacceptable delay)….we will definitely be back👍
