The Red Lion Restaurant is a great traditional, warm & friendly country pub in the heart of stunning Penyffordd.

HOMEMADE SUNDAY LUNCH

Join us from 12pm to 7pm every Sunday for one of the best homemade Sunday lunches in the region. Hand cut, fresh and locally sourced vegetables & meats complimented by homemade gravy’s and sides.

SPRING MENU

We are thrilled to launch our new Spring Menu, Lounge Menu and our new & improved Sunday Menu as well as our weekly Chef's Specials Menu.

Our Main Menu, Lounge Menu & Chef's Specials Menu will be available

~ Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 5pm - 9pm

~ Friday & Saturday 12pm - 9pm

Head Chef Steve Crewe has created our Spring Menu with customer favourite dishes new & old.

    The fish and chips were average. I don't think the chips were hand cut. I can cook better hand cut chips at home. So for nearly £18 it was too expensive. Quite disappointed.

    As usual lovely atmosphere and staff. Only complaint was there was no chicken on the Sunday menu and the chips are far too big and difficult to digest. Otherwise food was lovely.

    Booked for 3, and what lovely meals we had, piping hot and delivered to our table quickly, extremely tasty with nice options. Great service with a smile and nothing was too much. Will definitely be going back for more!.

    We had a lovely Sunday roast portion size was brilliant. Pudding was not to hubbies liking but they took it off the bill. Very king gesture to do this.

    Best Sunday lunch for a very long time.Beef was outstanding,food piping hot,absolute banging food overall…the staff were lovely

    As always a fabulous place to eat and always a great meal. Never disappointed. The prices are unbelievable as the quality and size of the portions are exceptional - lucky us! Phoebe, as always, is so so friendly and just a lovely person, taking care of all our needs. Thank you.
