Since welcoming its first guests in 1773, The Red Lion Inn has earned a reputation for outstanding food and genuine country hospitality. Those traditions are continued today, with our outstanding menu featuring contemporary cuisine that is rooted in the region's history and harvests. Emphasizing the use of fresh, local ingredients and a huge proponent of buying locally and sustaining the region, we regularly update the Inn's menus to reflect the bounty of each season. Guests choose from the elegant Main Dining Room and the cozy Widow Bingham's Tavern. The wine list offers 500 plus selections, and has received the Wine Spectator best of Award of Excellence for ten consecutive years; Sommelier Tim Eustis helps pair wines with meals. Had option between Main Dining Room and Tavern, opted for Tavern. Wanted a relaxing experience combined with same food options. Have to say the turkey pot pie was the best I've had. A vegetarian would be pleased with options available. A pleasant experience.

The ambience and history was wonderful, and it was disappointing that the food was not. I had the smash burger (greasy) with fries (a bit cold and hard); my friend had the signature turkey sandwich. She thought the turkey seemed processed and the dressing was terrible. I hope they can do better in the future. I quite enjoyed being there, otherwise.

Excellent food, as always, although dessert was a bit pricey for a tiny serving that we shared. Gin and tonics were also more pricey than at comparable restaurants. Wonderful ambiance! We highly recommend!

We enjoyed lunch in the garden behind to hotel and highly recommend it. Our server Ashley was terrific and the food delish. We started with the soup of the day which was watermelon based and very good. I had the wedge salad with bacon bits w/ housemade ranch dressing and my partner had the burger. Both excellent.

This place was very cool! There is a ton of history there. You can dine in the upscale main dining room, the lobby lounge, or the pub. There is also the speakeasy downstairs with a limited selection of food, but offering live music 5 nights a week. We dined in the pub and also had a few drinks while listening to the music downstairs. The food in the pub was excellent. You can order from the menu available in the main dining room as well. It is up to you to choose which ambience you want. The pub is a 19th century vibe with tons of memorabilia adorning the walls and ceiling. The dining room is more upscale but not overly formal. We will absolutely visit here again when we are back in the Berkshires.
