   Lovely welcoming atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. The food was very generous portions and excellent quality. Highly recommend and definitely will visit again.

   I’ve been going to the Red Lion in Bloxham more regularly recently and have been genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is always relaxed and welcoming, just what you want from a village pub. The roast dinners are consistently excellent with really generous portion sizes (you won’t leave hungry!). The team there are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. A lovely spot, especially for a Sunday roast. Highly recommend!

   The food was very good. Generous portions. Friendly service. I like that the tables are not too close together so you can have a conversation and hear what is said. The car park exit is a bit tight for a larger car. We've been before and will definitely return.

   Can highly recommend the Sunday roast (we both had the beef.) everything was piping hot, lots of lovely veg, including cauliflower cheese, which is quite often extra. Lovely meal.

   Having been to the Red Lion on several, very successful prior occasions, we chose this establishment for my cousin’s 60th birthday treat. We just had a poor night I guess. The service was dreadful and inattentive. I had to chase a waiter after 50 minutes, just for two starters. My wife did the same after a 90 minute wait to get our mains (she didn’t have a starter). We then had a somewhat flaky individual, pulling some dodgy shapes, trying to amuse us by a ‘2 to 3 minute wait’. Just as we had decided to leave (10 minutes later) the mains turned up! Apart from a member of staff’s long hair in my cousins main, the food was excellent. At no point, were we offered an apology or even the gesture of a free drink. The fine young lad that took my bill payment, did take 10% off the total when I told him of our experiences. I wasn’t looking for this, but this was a grateful token. Such a shame!

    Lovely meal , mushroom soup was outstanding. Service was very pleasant but not very attentive had to look for service twice
