   Not eaten here for years! Chose the venue as a pre Christmas catch up with family! Great service, lovely food and a great pub to catch up in with a lovely atmosphere!

   I booked through this app and 2 days later I got a very rude lady call me from red kite and cancel my booking and inform me that they don't recognise open table app She then offered me a table 3 hours before I required it and said it best we can do

   Really nice pub, rustic decor and good atmosphere. Plenty on the menu to suit any taste and reasonable priced. I ate at the pub every night for 5 nights and never had a bad meal, always cooked correctly and very tasty. My only negative about the food would be the portion sizes. They were quite small for the price and on a few occasions I was still hungry after eating my meal. But other than, great food. The staff were always polite and helpful. Never sat waiting too long to be served and plates were cleared quickly after I had finished eating. I dined in both the restaurant and bar area and in both areas it felt slightly cramped, possibly trying to fit more tables into an area that could benefit from less tables but that's just my opinion. All in all I would recommend giving the red kite a go for either a meal or drink but definitely book ahead, it's very busy every night I was there and you can end up with a long wait for a table.

   We enjoyed the environment and good food. Not hurried or hassled and staff friendly and efficient . Helpful with sharing payment of Bill. But! I had booked on line and there was no booking for me. However they accepted a revised time and were very welcoming. Good place and excellent food. Thank you. We will be back,!
