   This place was wonderful. We started with drinks, I had Prosecco and my boyfriend had a cocktail. Then we had the raw oysters, which we were offered a selection to choose from. They were fantastic. We then had the roasted shishito peppers, and they were so nutty, and delicious. A perfect snack while we waited for our entrees. My boyfriend ordered the filet which was one of the offered steaks for the evening, it was cooked perfectly and had a Mediterranean feel to the whole plate. He finished every last piece of food on his plate. I had the Alabama White BBQ chicken. I ordered for the brussel sprout side which was incredible, the best brussel sprouts I’ve ever eaten. The pimento cheese grits were creamy, and perfectly cooked, and I eat a lot of grits. The chicken was fantastic…. Moist and tender and flavorful. It was served on the bone which I liked. Our server was fantastic. She knew the specials and the menu and was very attentive during our meal. The overall ambiance of this place was wonderful. The tables were a little close together, but overall the experience was fine. The items we ordered were fairly priced for the quality of food that we received. I would go back again and again.

   Only been twice but loved it both times. This is a bit of a splurge for us cost wise, but it was worth it. Our favorites are the ricotta dip, chicken skins, and riptide oysters! The fried green tomatoes were good, just a bit undercooked in my opinion. Service was amazing!!!

    Ordered a very large steak that just wasn’t that great. Tough to cut and not as flavorful as we would have hoped. It was pretty expensive due to the size and we did not feel it was worth the cost.

    This restaurant was a good choice for me, but a poor one for my meat and potatoes husband. The short rib was excellent! But for our anniversary, to be seated right next to the noisy kitchen was not the most romantic. And my husband wanted to swap out sides on the pork chops which was discouraged. So go and enjoy if you like a variety of freshly prepared foods, but ask for a quiet seating location if you are hoping to have an intimate conversation.

    Fantastic dinner! Best gazpacho we have ever had outside of Spain. Cam’s service was excellent and valet parking made coming and going effortless. Definitely recommend! Thank you Red Feather.

    Ordered salmon - 15 min later told ‘no salmon’ 15 min later told ‘we have salmon’. My friend said never mind but can I have another scotch - server came back and said ‘we’re out of scotch’ Speechless!

    Beat food and service we have had In Cincinnati! Knowledgeable staff who had the perfect level of service of allowing us to enjoy our night out but taking great care of us and anticipating our needs. Samatha the house Sommelier was our server and was great and the recommendations were killer. We got the ricotta whipped, steam buns and gnocchi were all 10s. The bigger was good but did not match the level of the other 3 dishes.

    Overall the Red Feather is good in execution and service. The food is well-seasoned and well-prepared. The menu is a little predictable and the ambience is comfortable but somewhat generic. Solid, but some occasional invention would go a long way.

    The wait staff were conscientious and knowledgeable. The pork chop was amazing. Cooked perfectly with a delicious flavor. The salmon was excellent. The bibb salad was delicious with a light dressing.

    This was our first time at the restaurant and we enjoyed it very much. Our server was very personable and helped make the experience memorable. The food was great — each plate was special. Of particular note was the pork chop. It was slightly smoky, tender, thick, and moist. The salmon was extremely good, and the short rib was amazingly tender and flavorful. A great experience in a beautiful restaurant.

    Great dinner with another couple at Red Feather on Friday, May 13. Started with whipped ricotta & grilled baguette. Had Hyde Park(er) cocktails, which were good--very refreshing and tasty. Also had cosmopolitans, which were good. Beet salads were amazing, as were the gnocchi and the shrimp & grits. Two at the table had burgers, and they were cooked perfectly & came with an unbelievable amount of fries! Loved this place and our experience.

    Impeccable service and delicious food. It’s a little on the high side so think of this place as a special occasion restaurant. Walter was knowledge and welcoming. It’s a scratch kitchen so two hours at your table with cocktails, an appetizer, entree and dessert is to be expected. We had the scallops, salmon, and short ribs at our table and all were delicious. The scallops, in particular, were huge. Decent wine list although I was surprised they didn’t have Malbec by the glass. The cab was an OK substitute. Atmosphere is cozy and the restaurant is nicely appointed.

    Came in to celebrate running the flying pig 10K. Great food - service wasn’t rushed and was incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Sara server and Sam Somm both notably awesome. Ty for a nice night.

    Food was actually rather good. Our server was excellent, but sadly quite slow. Unfortunately, this evening the restaurant was also hosting a birthday party for some man who arrived on a tour bus and was dressed like a magician. He wandered about from table to table greeting others, like he owned the place. After waiting some 30 minutes for our appetizers to be cleared someone came to tell us who he was as explanation for the restaurant’s slow service, but quite frankly, we didn’t care. Does it matter? Not to us, nor everyone else complaining of (and being compensated for) tonight’s (exceptionally atypical, even by Red Feather’s standards) molasses-slow service. The entire restaurant and staff were fixated upon him. His table was served a few giant steaks with onion rings, which looked quite a bit better than my salmon, but I didn’t see this on the menu. I’d be willing to try the Red Feather again if the service was more expeditious and this magical man was elsewhere. Maybe next time I’ll hit up Jeff Ruby on his home turf instead.

    Everything was amazing! Our server was so knowledgeable and was just overall a great person. He asked us our preferences and catered the specials to us. We had a gift certificate and he made suggestions the help us get the best bang for our buck! We started with the ricotta! Which was a must! My boyfriend got the burger and let me saw that was the best burger I’ve ever had and I’ve had some good burgers!! I got the short rib and was in love! Definitely will be coming back again!

    4 of us went out to celebrate a birthday and the food was amazing and our waiter Larry was fantastic! I will recommend it to everyone I know and definitely go back again! Such a great find! (If you want things to be a bit quiet then you need to request the back room.)

    This was our first visit to Red Feather since the before-times and we were so excited. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our fond memories. First, it was VERY loud, which may have been a function of the table location in the back corner near the kitchen and next to a noisy four-top. Our server was nice, but appeared harried and worn-out, apologizing for slow service and sold-out menu items; it seemed he'd been working all day, beginning with a busy brunch. Service was a bit haphazard, with flatware not placed in front of each guest and drinks passed around by us. Finally, the food: we enjoyed the beignet appetizer. Our guest liked the salmon served on spinach and my husband thought the chicken was good. I had the gnocchi, an entree served in a small dessert bowl with a few bits of mushroom, a bland sauce and three little pieces of cheese melted on top. None of the portions were large, but the others were adequate. Sadly, for $24, this was very small and without the satisfying richness that should characterize the dish. I hope, as the restaurant industry recovers, Red Feather will again be on our short list of favs.
