Red Feather has a menu that never disappoints. We started with oysters and the sweet potato beignets, both of which were excellent. I had the spare rib for the first time and I’ll order this dish again. It exceeded expectation. My only complaint with Red Feather (and just about everywhere else) is that the food is too salty, almost to the detriment of the flavors.

The server was great and working hard but the overall service was extremely slow. The room was drafty and tight amongst tables. For what we ordered - burger and salmon .. I thought it was a bit overpriced. The bathroom was not clean. Overall. We were bummed bc we’ve had a pleasant experience in the past.

Second time dining here first time much better. Seated promptly, drinks arrived quickly. Appetizers could have been better-the ricotta was lacking flavor. Oysters were miniscule served on a bed of salt rather than ice-had to ask for hot sauce, no lemon. Pretty pricey as well. Once we ordered we waited almost 2 hours for our food. We ordered glasses of wine and the server/attendant was awesome. Our server kind of disappeared during the wait for dinner. Looking forward to the pork chop expensive but last time was really flavorful, this time not so much-they were nice in taking it off our bill.

This was our first visit to the restaurant. All was good but would preferred being seated out front instead of the back room.

Food quality was not to be compared. Exquisite flavor and parings! Terrific variety of locally sourced gourmet options. Mixology is on point. While the price point exceeds our other special occasion options, the quality exceeds. Highly recommended, but be prepared to miss a house payment if you are hungry and inspired.

We were able to get into the restaurant easily on a Wednesday evening after going to a movie. There are not a lot of selections on the menu but that is fine. It is a pricey menu. The cocktails we had were terrific. Would have been nice to have some bread available for the meal. Otherwise it is a terrific neighborhood restaurant.

Tables were way too close together, couldn’t get out of my seat without hitting another table/chair & all patrons were placed together instead of being spread out to reduce possible COVID exposure.

Red Feather has always been excellent and I know covid has taken its toll. That said, we ordered fries and they were served cold. We asked for a new order and those were better. we ordered the pork to share, were told it would take 40 mins, it came out in 25 and that was not only not warm, but felt like it had been cooked and warmed up several times before it was served to us. Was also a bit tough and not tender. And while our server was very nice and pleasant, drinks took a long time and we would have ordered another round but it just took too long.

We have eaten here serval times and had previously enjoyed the food. So we made reservations for a family gathering. They were very busy and we had a table of 8.

3 of 8 meals were poor and one of the poor meals was a $75 pork chop that was massively over cooked and dry and was only picked at.

The other two meals that were poor were both the the short rib. The short rib was a very modest portion and relatively tasteless and the supporting cast of pumpkin mash and roasted squash were bland an over cooked.

It was a Christmas family gathering with people that did want to complain and wanted to just enjoy the company, so we did not give the Restaurant an opportunity to respond. (So maybe this review is unfair ) but I would guess this will be our last trip to Red Feather.

The service was good. The menu was different than online which was disappointing and they were out of one of the entrees. The food was good. I had the scallops and they were perfectly prepared. My only complaint is for the price there should be more food on the plate. Three scallops would be fine if there were sides to go along but it basically came with three bites of parsnip purée for the bargain price of $47!!! Definitely not worth the cost- won’t be rushing back at those prices. We dine out at upscale restaurants all the time and Red feather prices are on par but not in the amount of food that you receive. Can’t think of any other restaurant that serves that small amount for the price.

Red Feather is a pure gem on Madison with a refined but diverse menu with spot-on service. While we were hungry, the ricotta & bread at the beginning filled us up a bit too much. If you're up for exploring more of the menu, I'd suggest getting a few smaller plates then one entree to share.

Oh we had such great service and food for our first time at Red Feather! We kicked off with a Fig Old Fashioned and Shrimp & Grits. We had Notorious P.I.G next. Next was best of the best - the main! Mussels and Brussels y’all. Soak those frites in the sauce, so freaking deluxe! Took a slice of bourbon pecan pie to go, perfect midnight snack.
Our server, Laura, was incredible! So helpful with the menu, recommendations and service was perfectly timed. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I had a 6pm reservation, showed up at 615 and left at 805 having only eaten an appetizer. Our waitress barely checked on us and never even asked for a drink order after our 2nd round. we basically sat at a bare table for 45 minutes before we decided to pay for what we ate and leave. I understand that restaurants are short staffed but the table next to us arrived at least 30 minutes after us and received their entree in a normal time. All in we were just super annoyed by the whole experience, it was a total waste of time.

This was once our favorite restaurant but we returned to Cincinnati for a visit and went to Red Feather and was terrible disappointed.

Ordered soup for an appetizer and two different small plates. Also ordered a bottle of wine and asked for a wine from Sicily and discussed it with the Sommelier.

We received the soup and wine and enjoyed the soup and wine. Then we had a very long wait and could not catch the attention of anyone to pour more wine so got up and looked or bottle and found it in a wine cooler and brought it back to the table so we could pour it ourselves.

We then waited and waited for our main course.

Then we noticed that the wine served was not the wine ordered and what was served was $ 50.00 more than what was ordered so I went and asked for the Sommelier who returned and said she would only charge us for what was ordered plus she gave us a bottle of what we did order.

However we still did not get our meals and when we finally did mine was cold and my wife's was not cooked thoroughly (rise was crunchy). At which point the Manager came and offered to not charge us and we accepted and left the food and the restaurant.

Sad to find one of our faviorite places had been so bad.

It's been years since we've eaten at Red Feather - of course, the pandemic has been partly to blame - but we will definitely go back!!

The main entrees were both great. We ordered the roasted garlic appetizer and instead received the ricotta, which was frustrating. Was hard to hear our waiter over the noise of the restaurant. Waiter forgot about us multiple times. Took long to get our food. Was at the restaurant for over two hours.

Placed in back room which was extremely loud. Moved to main room. 730 reservations. Ordered, got food at 945. Salads were comped. Birthday dessert not delivered. Left at 10. Food was very good as was service. Should have been told that it would take over two hours to be served food.

From start to finish, this was a fantastic dining experience. The service is detailed, cutlery is placed between courses, the pacing of the courses was perfect and the manager had a fantastic wine knowledge with perfect pairing suggestions. Food was perfectly seasoned, plated beautifully, I really can't say enough good things. I can't wait to come back.

We hadn't dinned at RF since soon after it opened and had found it a bit too noisy for us; but, after looking over the menu, decided to try it again. It was a very pleasant surprise. We ate in the main dinning room which was very pleasant and felt quite familiar since likable had changed since the old Boca days. We had four courses each from the starter and small plate menus and found them all excellent. We has a nice bottle of Brunello that was not unreasonably priced. Our server, Ginxii, was A++ with information, timing, and special treatment. Our food items well reasonably priced, but we did not have any of RF's main dishes so we can not judge there quilt or value.
We will return soon.

The Red Feather is a diners establishment. The food is outstanding. The presentation is beautiful. The portions vary from an enormous steak served to a diner at a nearby table to elegant small plates with delicious offerings. The cocktails were interesting and quite tasty, and the desserts were as good to eat as they looked on the printed menu. The restaurant staff were friendly, helpful and interested in making the evening a success
