   We have been coming to the red dory for many years and as always, had a delicious meal. The only issue with the Dory is the noise in the dining room. At times it’s very hard to hear especially if there is a large crowd at the bar. We asked to be seated in the back room and that was enough to keep things down to a.dull roar. I wonder if putting pads on the chairs and table cloths out would help absorb some of the sound? The scallops were well cooked, bolognese was a lovely combination of flavors, fish and chips were good, chicken always a great back up. Love the food and the view of the Sakonnet river is so lovely. We’ll be back.

   Delicious dinner - deviled eggs, chowder and skinny dip salad. All tasty.. love the strawberry rhubarb crisp. And a glass of French Chardonnay w/o oak. Nice evening. Thank you.

   Always a winner…fabulous food, Kathy was a great server, relaxed comfortable setting. We go quite often, especially with guests who love seafood

   Food always carefully prepped, served at the perfect temperature. High quality ingredients, great bar, they even had a staff dedicated to polishing every wine glass… spotless! A fun place to spend the evening.

   We dine often at the Dory. The atmosphere is very nice and people are having a good time and there is a good variety of people. The hosts are great and Jared is an amazing person. He and Aaron are a great team. We used to think the menu needed more variety (largely because we dined there often) and recently there are lots of dishes being added and rotated which has been great! The waitstaff are across the board nice, interesting people who do a great job. There is an exquisite casualness to the experience but don’t be fooled they’re a very well run restaurant. Highly recommend!

   The food was excellent. However, our waitress was not attentive even though the restaurant was slow. I had to approach another server for the check because we felt forgotten about. We were interested in desert but decided against it because of the service.

   It has become an Easter tradition. Everything was beautiful. One of our favorite laid back restaurants in Newport County which is a great value for what you get.
