I found your menu to be limited.. Last time I was there [ pre-pandemic} you had a lot more options Especially for calorie counting people
Something for everyone. Games for kids little and big
Great views! Decent doors and drink. Worth the trip for the patio. Classic Toronto spot.
I got reservation for the inside to be able to play games but they gave us seats in the outside. Also they advertise on the website that they have ping pong but they don’t
Had my 19th birthday with 7 of my friends. I'm pleased with how The Rec Room handled us, they arranged a special area with comfortable couches and even split the bill into 8. I had a lot of fun with the games at the game centre. All in all, I would come again!
The rec room is great! Everyone will enjoy it! The kids and the kids at heart! Food was great! Loved the music!!
terrible service, pizza taste was awful and the meal was overpriced, lots of wasps on the patio and they really ruined the dinning experience
Nice spot for a drink and finger food. Great for pre-show outing with friends. Casual setting in the heart of city. Quick service and good drinks. Food was okay, but calamari were terrible. All batter and no calamari. I would go back.
Horrible experience. I booked an indoor table and when we got there we were told eating indoor was not allowed. Too bad there were several tables indoore with people eating. We were also not allowed to use the games after dinner as now the two things are separated. However, this was never indicated anywhere at the moment or booking or even when you get there!
Nobody goes to eat there if they cannot play. Food is lower than average. Kids want to go for the games! We have to re-line up a second time to get in for the games. Just horrible. They ruined a birthday celebration!
Josh was our server and he was fantastic! the atmosphere was perfect, we were a party of 4 tucked away in the corner with our own space. perfect place to hang before the game. 10/10 would recommend.
The ambiance on the patio is lovely. The food is great and the service is super friendly.
I had been once before for a work event and really enjoyed myself. Surely my family would be just as taken with it, right? Nope.
The service was really slow, the food was average and the games were dated. We agreed that The Rec Room was a glorified Dave and Busters - only less convenient.
Had an amazing time. Food, service everything great except they close early in week days :(
I felt bad for our servers - they were understaffed and it took about 30 minutes before we had someone available to take our orders.
Food was meh and drink selection was so, so although I liked that they had pitchers.
We got our meals before the drinks. It took awhile for service
It was great food! Service was a little slow at first, but they were kind nonetheless
Busy place prior to Jays game .... service was OK , food was good.
The service was the only issue. We had 3 servers plus a manager stop by our table and we still sat down, twiddling our fingers with empty drinks and finished plates. Love the place but the service was really bad this night.
Great big patio! Food was great. Service was good but seem a little understaffed.
It was really nice to be able to sit out on the patio and enjoy dinner, cold drinks and the city views with my son before the ball game. It took a while for the server to notice us (15 minutes), but once she did, the service and food were terrific. We had a great time and would love to go again.
The Rec Room is a great spot for locals and tourists with an incredible view of the CN Tower and energy surrounded by the Rogers Centre. Amazing place with good vibes for a fun night out with games and great food!
Wait staff was awful. Never checked in with us, had to have another server get her to come over to take our order, never cleared our drinks etc.
Honestly wasn’t too impressed. If it wasn’t for the servers I wouldn’t rated lower. Everyone working there is so nice!! The food was subpar and the cocktails were watered down. I would go again just for the games
Would have eaten at The Budweiser area we were in but only hotdogs or Hamburgers didn’t want either They treated us very well in that section Got a T Shirt popcorn Budweiser good price enjoyed watching the Blue Jays win
All the food was delicious and the drinks were amazing!! I had a great time eating in the patio and then playing in all the game machines. I would definitely go back in the dutire.
food was weak and overpriced. would be great location for kids, not for adults
Our server Josh was awesome !
Got two cocktails. They were really good, but they were quite small. Overall, the view is gorgeous, the ambiance is great and I will be back again!
Some of the food could be better. Lacks seasoning but it wasn’t bad, I’d recommend it. Just ask for salt, pepper and maybe bring some chilli flakes lol
It was our first visit and we dined outdoors and Josh was AMAZING!!!!! He was energetic and friendly and should train new comers because he’s at 100%. He is the reason I would return to your location. The advice I’d give to people visiting is MAKE a reservation and be patient. Lots of fun activities but you need patience. Also there is NO axe throwing here which was disappointing that’s the reason we booked. It was myself and 6 teens (kids & there friends)
Loved that we were seated quickly and the servers were attentive.
Food is not that great considering its price. We ordered the 3Ten burgers and the patties were too dry.
I understand the capacity restrictions they have in place but it sucked that patio diners had to queue up again to gain entry to the games room.
Can you guys please have bowling as well. We thought you guys had bowling. But without bowling also it was lot of fun.
Everything was good except we were given a seat where my view was the interior of the rec room. We asked to change it but they refused it. Just a bad experience.
Our service was extremely slow, made mistakes and had other pick up his slack. It was disappointing and he over charged me on a meal after he had to correct his mistake
Server (Mark) was fabulous and the food was good.
However we had a friend join us midway through our meal and we were given a very hard time about putting an extra chair at our table - we ended up having to move tables and it took several conversations. The patio was half empty and extremely well-distanced, there shouldn't be any reason someone should be prevented from pulling up a chair to spend more money at the establishment. They also told us we couldn't play games after having dinner without waiting in the walk-in line out front, which should not be the case. Their procedure and organization could use some work.
Had a reservation for 19h15, arrived at 19h20 and it started raining a bit before that.
The host told me I had to get in line (in the rain) even if i have a reservation…to get indoor seating.
It was our 5th year anniversary (and this was mentionned before hand). And we came all the way from MTL.
By the end of our meal, the owner was with another employee discussing something at afar but staring constantly in our direction multiple times. It started to become ackward…
The arcade is awesome, but dining I would not go back at all.
Fabulous patio! Really big and tables were spread out well which was nice. Great music and atmosphere. Food was good, we had the nachos and they were really yummy! Would definitely come back!
Enjoyed the service and food and was grateful we could make a reservation on line to ensure we had a spot for our dinner!
Service was slow, had to have the hostess get our server and still waited for him after that. Ordered our appetizer with our drinks and then ordered our food afterwards so that we didn't have it all at once. Appetizer took a long time to come and then our food came within minutes of our appetizer so it got cold. Our food was mediocre as well. We left the Jays game early so we didn't lose our reservations, so we were disappointed in our experience here. TVs on the patio could be more spread out/bigger so that everyone can see them. Games are fun, wasn't as many as I expected but we enjoyed ourselves. I would come back, just with different expectations. I would recommend it to a friend that wasn't looking to be impressed.
